Description: Brand-Nu Laboratories, LLC. (BNL) is seeking a Senior Account Manager who will report to the Commercial Director. The Senior Account Manager is responsible for supporting the sales and day-to-day servicing for the pharmaceutical, biopharma/biotech, advanced technologies, medical device, and environmental industries for our top customers. This role will ensure customers delivery and documentation expectations are met to provide an outstanding customer experience.

Job Type: Full-time, 40hrs/week, in person

Hours: 8:00AM-5:00PM M-F

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

· Manage the daily operations of the Account Management department.

· Oversee mentoring of team members and upskilling opportunities.

· Developing process improvement plans to enhance the customer experience.

· Set account management SMART goals, objectives, and KPI’s for team members and evaluate their progression monthly.

· Oversee weekly activities on key accounts and act as an escalation point.

· Creating meaningful reports using the ERP system and provide strategic analysis to leadership team on a regular basis.

· Investigate ongoing customer service issues; design and implement comprehensive solutions to key problems.

· Manage a top tier customer account(s) in conjunction with department leaders.

· Organize weekly touch-base meetings with operations team.

· Plays key conduit role linking Account Management, Business Development, Operations, and Quality.

· Liaise with Production Managers on Open order schedule, making sure to prioritize urgent orders as needed.

· Assist with business development opportunities and actively pursue upselling opportunities with customers.

· Process sales and purchase orders within the relevant ERP system.

· Manage customer complaints and resolutions in a timely and urgent manner.

· Coordinate and attend SRM meetings.

· Assist with stock control and inventory checks on an regular basis.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, in business or a scientific discipline preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum 5 years’ prior experience leading an account management function, preferably in the chemical or chemical distribution industry.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Outstanding follow-up skills in both internal and external communications, customer resolution, order confirmation, and delivery status.
