The Senior Optimization & Insights Analyst supports marketing strategies through data analysis, testing initiatives, and actionable insights to drive business improvement.
Job Summary:
The Senior Optimization & Insights Analyst is responsible for supporting the evaluation and optimization of marketing strategies. This role focuses on contributing to test & learn initiatives, analyzing experimental data, and providing actionable insights to improve business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, a passion for data-driven strategies, and the ability to translate complex analyses into actionable recommendations.
Essential Duties:
- Collaborate with marketing, finance, and operations teams to assess pricing and promotional strategies.
- Analyze customer and channel performance to generate actionable insights for business improvement.
- Support marketing initiatives by providing data-driven recommendations on campaigns and promotions.
- Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards using SQL and data visualization tools.
- Assist in tracking key performance metrics and providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of reporting to support data-driven marketing strategies.
- Support the execution of A/B and multivariate testing to optimize marketing and sales initiatives.
- Analyze experimental data to evaluate the effectiveness of tests and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Present insights and recommendations from tests to cross-functional teams and mid-level leadership.
Education / Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or marketing analytics.
- Experience with A/B testing, multivariate testing, and basic experimental design.
- Experience working cross-functionally with finance and marketing teams is a strong advantage.
- Experience in multi-unit retail, service industries, or franchise operations is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:
- Proficiency in statistical modeling and hypothesis testing using tools such as R or Python.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Ability to synthesize data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly.
- Basic financial and business acumen, with the ability to understand how data insights relate to business goals.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on supporting team efforts and business initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Projected salary range: $110,000 - $120,000, DoE
