We are seeking an experienced Senior Copywriter. This pivotal role combines effective storytelling with strategic copy, ensuring our clients’ brands and missions resonate across diverse audiences. You will craft distinctive brand narratives, lead strategy workshops, and execute effective audience-driven marketing campaigns.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Copywriting & Storytelling: Create powerful, strategic, and purpose-driven copy for digital and print mediums that inspires action and strengthens brand equity for our clients.


Strategic Leadership
: Lead clients through messaging, storytelling, and content strategy workshops to uncover insights and translate them into effective copy.


Collaboration
: Partner closely with clients, designers, strategists, and stakeholders to align messaging and creative direction with project goals.


Client Engagement
: Build trust through empathetic communication and proactive leadership, enabling clients to embrace bold, innovative solutions.


Cross-Sector Expertise
: Leverage your understanding of both nonprofit and for-profit sectors to craft messaging and copy that bridges audiences and industries.


Travel
: Participate in on-site workshops and presentations as required to foster deeper co-creation and rapid alignment with clients.


QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: 7+ years in brand, marketing, and fundraising copywriting, with a proven track record in both nonprofit and for-profit contexts.


Skills
:

  • Proven expertise in conversion copywriting, including print and digital
  • Experience in:
    • email copywriting (email performance marketing a plus)
    • website copywriting (including SEO, headlines, and microcopy)
    • direct response copywriting (ideally in fundraising; otherwise, e-commerce)
    • direct mail copywriting (ideally in fundraising; otherwise, in large retail or finance)
  • Strong portfolio of work demonstrating impactful storytelling tactics
  • Ability to communicate in a variety of client voices and brands
  • Proficiency in facilitating strategy workshops and guiding clients through a process
  • Ability to balance creativity with strategic thinking in fast-paced environments
