General Description of the Job Class


The Senior CRM Marketing Specialist leads and coordinates the implementation of activities in support of a comprehensive marketing plan to grow clinical volume for DUHS. This role will be responsible for providing technical expertise in using the CRM database to execute integrated marketing campaigns.


The successful candidate will:

  • Understand lead generation, online customer acquisition, digital marketing and conversion metrics
  • Have previous experience with a CRM database and marketing automation platform, preferably Salesforce
  • Be a highly organized and effective project manager with a demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize and consistently meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
  • Have a results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth


Duties and Responsibilities of this Level


  • Support the planning, execution and analysis of direct marketing campaigns, including email, direct mail (40%)
  • Use CRM database to develop segmented audiences and targeted lists for marketing campaigns. (10%)
  • Leverage the data available in the CRM along with other analytics and industry research and work with the creative team to ensure the most effective messages are reaching the appropriate audiences. (5%)
  • Work with creative team to manage campaign assets in the marketing automation platform, including building, testing and deploying the creative to support email initiatives. (20%)
  • Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of email marketing through analysis and reporting, including tracking CRM campaign data and results (5%)
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for email and mobile/sms marketing channels, performing industry research to stay abreast of best practices and work with service line team to identify the most appropriate marketing channels to achieve objectives (20%)

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, IT, Analytics or related field is required.


Experience:
Two years of directly related experience is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Skilled in crafting compelling content
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Solid understanding of advertising and the principles of marketing
  • Proficiency in CRM software, analytics tools including Salesforce, digital analytics tools eg Google Analytics, and database management
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Skilled in customer engagement


Required Qualifications
