The Senior Director of Brand Strategy and Insights will shape and execute First Tech’s brand strategy, leveraging insights to drive engagement and loyalty while fostering innovation and collaboration across channels.
The Senior Director of Brand Strategy and Insights is responsible for shaping First Tech’s brand strategy, leveraging B2B and B2C insights to support the growth of our SEG and membership base. This position will be responsible for developing and overseeing innovative brand campaigns, utilizing data and technology to enhance customer engagement, and working cross-channel to drive brand awareness and member satisfaction.

Job Duties
- Lead the ideation, planning and execution of brand strategies across all channels, ensuring alignment with business goals, member needs, and market trends
- Drive the integration of consumer insights and data analytics into brand decision-making processes, defining a strategy that is based on measurable outcomes to exceed customer expectations
- Develop and oversee brand positioning, messaging, and storytelling that resonates with key business segments and drives brand loyalty
- Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy plan that aligns with organizational goals, addresses member pain points, and leverages market opportunities
- Ensure brand consistency across all channels, including digital, online, retail, experiential, and contact centers, working closely with product teams and digital teams to drive targeted experiences
- Lead a team of channel experts to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement to deliver a fully integrated brand and messaging strategy across SEG, XC and Experiential channels
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, product, data analytics, and technology teams, to ensure that brand strategies are supported by effective marketing experiences
- Set and monitor performance goals for brand health drawing from insights gained via consumer feedback and market research, and lead the adjustment of strategies and tactics to optimize results
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to continually refine brand strategies and maintain a forward-looking, innovative brand presence
- Collaborate with other marketing leaders to position the brand as a thought leader in the financial services industry, driving engagement with members and SEG’s through content, social media, and strategic partnerships
- Drive internal brand education initiatives to ensure all employees understand and champion the brand promise, values, and strategic objectives across the organization
Essential Skills
- Minimum 10 years’ of experience in B2B and B2C brand strategy, insights, and marketing fields, preferably in the financial services or technology sectors
- Minimum 8 years of experience managing and providing leadership to marketing brand and campaign management professionals
- Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams, with a track record of driving results through collaboration and innovation
- Extensive experience setting marketing strategy and leading marketing projects in a multi-channel, multi-product environment
- Demonstrated expertise identifying and defining consumer and market research needs, extrapolating insights and applying them to go-forward strategy
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, consumer behavior, and the evolving financial services landscape.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and align teams around shared goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to express ideas concisely and logically
- Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or other related fields of study or equivalent experience
Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124 | (HYBRID)
Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR: $165k - $190k annually + annual bonus
