We are seeking a multifaceted and experienced Senior Director to lead our Core Team for Hip Robotics. This pivotal role will be responsible for supervising the development and execution of our hip robotics programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and driving innovation in robotic-assisted surgery. What will you be doing?

  • Leadership and Strategy:
    • Lead and be responsible for the cross-functional Core Team for Hip Robotics, encouraging a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the program and ensure alignment of program goals with the overall business strategy and objectives.
    • Drive innovation in robotic-assisted hip surgery, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.
  • Program Management:
    • Be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of hip robotics projects. Run program budgets, timelines, resources and mitigate risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with key partners and collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, marketing, clinical, regulatory, quality, operations, finance, and suppliers
    • Communicate program progress and outcomes to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Team Development:
    • Mentor and develop team members, encouraging a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
    • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in the medical device or robotics industry.
  • Experience in hip surgery or orthopedic robotics is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering electro-mechanical and electro-software products from concept to launch.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical or software engineering, or a related field.
