SHORT DESCRIPTION

The Senior Director of Growth Marketing will optimize business growth through full-funnel marketing, leading a team to deliver clear lead generation outcomes and manage all aspects of the company's marketing efforts.

The Senior Director of Growth Marketing will be responsible for ongoing optimization of our company’s business growth through full-funnel marketing. The Senior Director will lead a performance-driven team and strategically plan, execute, optimize and measure results from all sources and deliver clear lead generation outcomes for our products and solutions. The role includes ownership of the website and keen understanding of the marketing tech stack and sales/marketing integrated KPIs to optimize our performance. Reporting to the CMO, you must have experience orchestrating the building of end-to-end campaigns for all levels of the funnel, from brand awareness to conversion optimization and customer marketing.

The selected leader will be skilled in CRM integration, multi-touch attribution and lead scoring, including data enrichment, form & landing page testing, tracking and personalization technologies, chat and lead flow optimization, and all aspects of modern SMB GTM strategies across channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage all aspects of comprehensive marketing plan and budget that includes website, digital, social media, email, events, video/audio, and print campaigns.
  • Knowledgeable in traditional and digital media technologies such as Google & Bing, different creative and copy for social channels and overall digital reputation, webinars and podcasts, programmatic display ads, ABM, event marketing, content marketing, dB growth strategies, affiliate marketing, streamline video, direct mail, and SEO.
  • Develop full-funnel marketing strategies based on goals, with emphasis on increasing direct prospect leads that match our ICP.
  • Track key performance indicators including conversion rates, direct revenue, referrals, campaign performance, website traffic metrics with familiarity of key SMB SaaS metrics.
  • Expert in designing, launching, and managing lead generation campaigns using defined KPIs.
  • Build data strategies to increase qualified leads as an expert in conversion rate optimization.
  • Experience managing consultants, agencies, and freelancers to deliver work within budget.
  • Clear understanding and process creation/adoption among Can Spam, GDPR and other global regulations for privacy, security, and following opt-in rules for marketing.
  • Work closely with our MOPS leader to ensure successful implementation of campaigns and marketing stack synch to sales tech stack, including SFDC, Pardot and other form handlers and calendaring, using best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to apply new strategies to digital engagement. Innovate around emerging digital opportunities, including staying on top of the newest ad technologies and tactics.
  • Build and manage a talented team to support ongoing management of campaigns while maintaining target margins. Support team and individual growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing peers, product development, product marketing, sales, and other leaders across the organization to turn marketing strategies and products from optimization ideas to operational reality.
  • Select and leverage technologies as needed to meet and exceed goals including implementation, integration & optimization experience
  • Work with the team to build our reputation through case studies, and 3rd party reviews and listings/listicles where relevant
  • Leverage/optimize use of social and community platforms, e.g. Spout Social, Bambu or alternatives
  • Test and build customer engagement including custom content, site demo experiences, and personalization solutions such as Uberflip, Navattic, Outgrow
  • Use of SEMRush and other SEO optimization tools
  • Hands-on ownership of marketing reporting and accountability for full funnel results analysis and optimization strategies
  • Expertise with business intelligence platforms such as Tableau or PowerBI a plus

Experience/Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of B2B website and conversion optimization
  • Tech/software industry experience a plus
  • 5+ years in SMB marketing; experience with professional services such as accounting and IT managed services and/or hosting a plus.
  • Expert in building intuitive online experiences
  • Comfortable with change and fast-paced, high-growth organizations
  • Highly organized, experience leading nimble and high-performing teams
  • Experience ensuring GDPR, CCPA, global compliance
  • On site SEO optimization
  • Expertise with SFDC (Salesforce) and Pardot
  • User testing expertise
  • Expertise in set up and analysis of Google tag manager, GA4, and more comprehensive website analytics solutions to use data to drive site optimization decisions
  • Comfortable working hands-on as well as delegating for scale
  • Confident presenting new ideas, results and strategies at all levels of the organization
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required, MS or MBA a plus
