MediaLink is seeking a Senior Director of Marketing to drive brand awareness and lead generation through strategic marketing campaigns and thought leadership initiatives.

MediaLink is the media and marketing’s most trusted advisor, helping the world’s largest brands and businesses transform and grow. We are hiring a Senior Director of Marketing to scale our marketing efforts to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
Reporting into the Head of Marketing, you will help build and execute our marketing strategy. You’ll build campaigns to show and tell the market about our service offerings through content, thought leadership, event activations and partnerships. Working closely with various cross functional teams, you’ll lead project management to bring marketing campaigns from ideation to execution.
You’re an experienced marketing leader who has experience supporting revenue generating teams. You thrive in a fast-paced environment while working on various projects simultaneously. Responsible for a small team, you’re able to motivate with a player-coach mentality.
The salary range for this role is $150,000 to $190,000 commensurate with experience and skills.
What You Will Do:
Marketing Strategy
  • Lead execution of MediaLink’s B2B marketing strategy including thematic thought leadership, social campaign strategy and consistent MediaLink brand messaging at trade events
  • Cascade the positioning and messaging for MediaLink’s brand and services to collateral including narrative, solutions overviews and business development materials to support the advisory and comms teams
  • Create channel specific versions of MediaLink’s messaging and to drive awareness and lead generation across our website, social and digital channels and email
  • Develop promotional marketing programs to address specific audiences and/or verticals
  • Closely collaborate with cross functional teams including the design, communications and insights teams to share visibility of marketing projects
Content Marketing
  • Support building and maintaining enablement collateral to ensure clients and prospects are connected with our brand and services, including positioning, case studies, thought leadership, social etc.
  • Ensure the collateral shared with the advisory team has their buy-in through incorporated feedback, to provide confidence when sharing MediaLink offerings and resulting in business growth
  • Develop drip campaigns for our social and digital channels driving awareness for our brand and thought leadership as well as lead generation for new business
  • Implement COPE (Create Once Publish Everywhere) methodology to make the most of all marketing materials created
  • Work in tandem with the comms team building and maintaining an editorial calendar
Leadership and Project Management
  • Act as a motivational player-coach lead of a small marketing team
  • Own planning and distribution of campaigns including cross functional coordination
  • Create and manage a content calendar to share consistent visibility of what to expect from the marketing team across the company
  • Oversee measurement of campaigns including marketing analytics and perception research in order to make ongoing data-driven decisions
What You Will Need:
  • 12+ years of experience supporting B2B Marketing and Revenue generating teams
  • Collaborative attitude, comfortable in a fast-paced environment and a track record of great leadership building trust and enhancing culture
  • Experience presenting to and working with executive leadership teams
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective time management skills with ability to manage several projects simultaneously
  • Creative thinking with operational rigor to come up with stand out ideas you know how to execute
  • Consistently able to exercise independent judgment and decision making
  • Comfortable operating on a small team, often getting scrappy
  • Proven background and success working in a cross-functional team environment
