SHORT DESCRIPTION

The Senior Director of Brand Management at Shamrock Foods will strategically develop and implement brand marketing initiatives, driving sales growth and brand loyalty across the Family of Brands and Exclusive Brand portfolios.

At Shamrock Foods, we are proud to offer our Family of Brands portfolio that we manufacture, as well as our industry-leading Exclusive Brand portfolio to foodservice operators across the Western U.S. This includes 6 brands that we manufacture as well as nearly 20 brands that we offer exclusively through our strong supplier partnerships. The Senior Director of Brand Management is responsible for the strategic development, management, and implementation of brand marketing initiatives for our Family of Brands and Exclusive Brand portfolios including planning, developing and implementing customer and sales programs across channels. The ideal candidate is proactive and harnesses leadership skills to help drive sales growth and long-term brand loyalty.

Essential Duties:

  • Direct all facets of brand management including leading the Family of Brands and Exclusive Brands portfolio of new and existing items.
  • Leadi the brand management of customer segment strategies for specialty, pizza & Italian, and Mexican operator segments.
  • Provide leadership and direction in developing communication plans to ensure branding and positioning are adopted internally.
  • Serve as Shamrock Foods’ primary marketing point of contact for IMA (Independent Marketing Alliance) and Markon and serving on marketing alignment committees for the membership that comprises of independent foodservice distributors across the U.S.
  • Lead Brand Strategy across multiple channels and develop long-term and annual portfolio plans.
  • Develop and execute year-long communications and engagement plans for the product portfolio including promotions, digital content, sales training, and customer event activation.
  • Develop compelling system communications, including Rollout books, conversion plans, etc.
  • Direct responsibility over the management of applicable partners.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of colleagues from manufacturing, sales, category management, customer experience, and event teams to execute brand plans
  • Manage projects from concept through market commercialization.
  • Execute the marketing initiatives including promotions, merchandising, sales training, packaging, new product launches.
  • Analyze market data, pull out actionable insights, and translate them into activation plans that drive growth and business objectives. Utilize business analytics (share, volume and revenue drivers, competition). Form actionable recommendations and strategies
  • Assist in financial, competitive, pricing and category analysis. Identifying key trends and brand implications. Working with key decision tools and information sources
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of Brand Management experience, Foodservice or CPG food brand management preferred
  • Ability to think creatively & bring innovative solutions to marketing challenges
  • Proven experience in building and developing brands
  • Experience in managing people including multiple stakeholders to achieve buy-in or consensus
  • Strong strategic thinking skills
  • Experience and flexibility to establish new processes to improve overall communications effectiveness
  • Experience communicating at a senior level
  • Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays.
