ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Senior eCommerce Manager will lead our Amazon and direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels. This role will manage sales strategies, inventory, analytics, marketing, and consumer experience for our brands, including Oberto and Bavarian Meats. Key to this role will be launching our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business and driving brand growth and profitability through our eCommerce channels.

WAGE:
Salary range for this position is $135,000.00 - $160,000.00 annually, subject to all required taxes and withholdings.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Channel:

  • Identify and co-manage a 3PL partner to help us launch our DTC business.
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies, including an email promotional strategy.
  • Oversee the operations of our websites and analyze website sales to implement improvements.
  • Use sales and trend data to forecast future demand.
  • Increase consumer engagement with the site and brand.

Manage Amazon channel:

  • Create and execute sales and marketing strategies/promotional plans to grow our brands on Amazon.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics, shipments, marketing activity, and pricing.
  • Optimize product listings for better visibility and conversion rates, improving user experience.

General:

  • Set vision, goals, and growth strategy for a unified eCommerce experience across channels, resulting in growth and increased profitability.
  • Develop and manage eCommerce pricing strategy to maximize sales while optimizing gross profit.
  • P&L management for eCommerce channels.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and create routine reports.
  • Collaborate with team members and agencies including product development, marketing, sales, supply chain, and customer service.
  • Manage budgets for marketing, promotions, and other eCommerce expenses.
    • Identify opportunities for growth across all channels.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing or a related subject, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in ecommerce management, including Amazon and DTC
  • Proficiency with Shopify or a similar eCommerce platform.
  • Skilled with Amazon Vendor and Seller central.
  • Experience with digital marketing including SEO/SEM and Google analytics.
  • Proven success in managing eCommerce channels with quantifiable results.
  • Demonstrated building and maintaining cross-functional and external partner relationships.
  • Ability to manage projects at a hands-on level while also being able to pull back and develop the larger strategy.
  • Well-developed writing, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Strong natural leadership skills.
  • Demonstrates high standards and quality in all endeavors, solid work ethic.
  • Ability to communicate concepts and give clear direction across all levels of company.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.

Work environment is that of an office environment. This employee regularly works with office equipment, materials, chemicals, and wet floors and with wet equipment when on the production floor. This employee may work around high voltage, hot water, and steam

  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
  • Physical work includes climbing stairs, etc.
  • Willing to work in a various-temperature environment
  • Ability to handle items weighing under 25lbs or may need to move objects safely and with proper body mechanics.

  • Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus
