A Little About the Job
The Senior eCommerce Manager will be responsible for analysing and interpreting website data to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency with web analytics tools, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. In between all that number crunching, you will be eating a lot of pizza! This role is based out of our Austin, TX Office.

- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimisation based on web data analysis from ooni.com and marketplaces. Finding insights across all DTC sales channels
- Identify product and basket trends across DTC channels
- Map out the customer journey to identify touchpoints and optimize each stage of the funnel
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve website performance and user experience
- Support the Head of eCommerce with project and initiative prioritization along with relevant business cases, and support in setting monthly revenue and primary KPI targets
- Analyze the impact of different marketing channels on website traffic and conversions
- Communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner
- Generate and analyse reports to track KPIs, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
- Ensure a seamless and engaging user experience, including site navigation, content, and functionality
- Implement, and analyse A/B and multivariate tests to assess the effectiveness of different elements and content
- Conduct a thorough analysis of on-site user behaviour using web analytics tools (Google Analytics and Contentsquare)
- Measure and monitor demand forecasting KPIs, drive improvements in accuracy and appraise causes for discrepancies vs forecasted numbers to further improve forecast accuracy
- Assist in the implementation and configuration of analytics tools and platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to web data collection and reporting
- Provide training and support to team members on web analytics tools and best practices
A bit about you:
- 5+ years of experience in web analytics, eCommerce Trading or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Shopify
- Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with UX/UI design principles.
- Familiarity and confidence with standard eCommerce data points and relevance for demand forecasting exercise
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office Microsoft applications.
- Proficiency with web tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Big Query, Looker Studio and Tableau
- Be commercially and financially aware and understand the budget and the overall strategy
- Strong analytical skills, able to spot and predict trends and be proactive
- Experience in a multinational environment and analysing trends and performance of products across different regions
