Overview
Koya Medical is seeking a full-time, highly experienced healthcare professionals (HCP) marketer who wants to
join a fast-growing, early-stage medtech company focused on transforming vascular care in venous diseases.
We are looking for a highly self-motivated and hands-on marketing leader to join our team and drive
commercialization of an innovative pipeline, which spans from home health to intervention/prevention. The
successful candidate would play an integral role in establishing clear, differentiated positioning, core
messaging, and creative, while promoting our brand message clearly and consistently, and creating meaningful
engagement across channels but with a specific focus on HCPs. The ideal candidate enjoys a start-up
environment, hardworking,fun and supportive culture, and is comfortable effectively leading, managing
ambiguity and partnering cross-functionally.

About the Role

and driving adoption within their practices, through compelling positioning and messaging, targeted
campaigns, educational materials, and clinical data.
The ideal candidate has a high degree of self-awareness, leadership skills, is a strong and concise
communicator and is passionate about staying up to date on clinical data, marketing tools, and working with
HCPs including practice administrators and supportive providers. The marketeer must deliver on essential job
responsibilities and effectively grow and scale the function as the company scales.

Essential Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track records in the following
  • Market analysis and strategic planning
Deep understanding of the HCP landscape, including market trends, competitive analysis, and key
clinical needs within specific medical specialties (vascular surgery, vascular medicine, cardiology, etc.)
Lead development of HCP strategy and collaborate with other marketeers to develop integrated
marketing
  • Product positioning and messaging
Developing clear and compelling messaging concisely that deliver unique value propositions of Koya
products to HCPs tailored to their specific specialty, health team and practice needs.
  • KOL engagement & professional outreach
Partner with internal stakeholders and lead identification, nurturing and management of KOLs at
national and local levels to support commercialization activities throughout the product life-cycle.
  • Professional Content Creation
Designing and delivering educational materials such as presentations, publications, and training for
HCPs to ensure proper product understanding and usage, e.g. wet labs, speaker programs, Continuing
Medical Education (CME/CE) programs
  • Campaign development & management
Leading the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels including
conferences, webinars, direct mail, and digital platforms to reach target HCP audiences.
  • Sales and Payer team support
Collaborating closely with the sales and payer teams to provide clinical expertise, product training, and
marketing support to maximize sales and payer effectiveness.
  • Data analysis and reporting
Deliver on objective key results (OKRs) through appropriate sets of key performance indicators (KPIs)
to ensure effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adaptation of promotional response
Required Skills:
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, medical device landscape, and relevant clinical
practices
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with HCPs
  • Ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders within the medical community
  • Strategic thinking and marketing campaign development expertise
  • Proven ability to analyze market data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies
  • Proven ability in positioning, messaging, and claims development
  • Highly experienced in developing and providing feedback on copy and creative elements through use of
tools such as Canva /Figma
  • Experience in marketing tools (e.g. Salesforce CRM, marketing cloud etc., Google Analytics), basic
webflow or comparable website cms tools

Desired Qualifications
  • 5 or more years of experience in Medical Device HCP marketing in the desired disease space or
adjacent
  • Strong record of product introduction and launch experience
  • Ability to plan and execute with high degree of autonomy and be hands-on in execution
  • Experience in managing agency partners and collaborators
  • Excellent personal communication skills and highly collaborative cross-functionally
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or relevant experiences required
