High school diploma or equivalent, experience in sales, marketing, or customer service in a senior living environment, excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a passion for helping seniors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct community tours, build relationships with prospective residents, participate in outreach events, collaborate to meet occupancy goals, provide excellent customer service, maintain records in CRM, conduct admissions interviews, assign rooms, communicate with nursing and administration, document admissions, and perform other related duties.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Facilitate the admission of new residents and aid them in adjusting to life at the facility while ensuring high standards of customer service and compliance with regulations.
Job SUMMARY:
To facilitate the admission of appropriate new residents and to aid residents in adjusting to life at the facility.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Conduct tours of the community and highlight its amenities and services.
· Build and maintain relationships with prospective residents and their families.
· Coordinate and participate in outreach events, both on-site and in the local community.
· Collaborate with the management team to meet occupancy goals.
· Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries from potential residents.
· Maintain accurate records of leads and follow-up activities in CRM System.
· Understand the importance of customer service and be willing to learn resident/relative satisfaction techniques.
· Accept reservations for resident accommodations.
· Interview potential residents and residents' representatives to collect accurate data on admission inquiries.
· Identify potential residents whose needs can be met by the facility.
· Communicate admission inquiry data in written and verbal form to the nursing department and administration.
· Screen residents applying for admission for proper placement in the facility.
· Assign appropriate room numbers to residents in consultation with the nursing department and administration.
· Greet and escort the resident to the assigned nursing unit.
· Notify appropriate facility departments when a resident is admitted and/or discharged.
· Maintain an accurate facility census and be aware of available beds.
· Keep accurate records of resident’s names and room numbers.
· Communicate an accurate facility census to all facility departments.
· Explain facility philosophy, policies and procedures to potential and new residents and residents' representatives.
· Explain the facility admission agreement, and all attachments, to potential and new residents and residents' representatives.
· Follow admission, transfer, and discharge policies and procedures.
· Document admissions, transfers, and discharges in the facility admission record.
· Type and prepare resident identification bands, bracelets, and other appropriate identifying labels.
· Act as a liaison between transferring institutions and the facility.
· Establish a good rapport with transferring institutions.
· Participate in marketing the facility and maintaining an acceptable census level.
· Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations as outlined in the Corporate Compliance Program Manual.
· Refer admission problems to designated individuals.
· Observe facility safety policies and procedures.
· Observe facility infection control policies and procedures.
· Observe facility disaster preparedness procedures.
· Observe Resident's Rights policies and maintain resident confidentiality.
· Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, or customer service in senior living environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for helping seniors and their families find the right living arrangements.
- Knowledge of senior living industry trends is a plus.
