SHORT DESCRIPTION

The Senior Manager, Audience Engagement Lead will shape and execute audience engagement strategies to optimize marketing ROI for pharmaceutical brands, requiring innovative thinking and experience within a regulated environment.

ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior Manager, Audience Engagement Lead will play a critical role on the growing Media, Growth & Performance Marketing team. The role will partner with our integrated media planning and corporate affairs teams to advise and activate audience engagement strategies leveraging capabilities from our newly formed Audience Engagement Team: A Center of Excellence formed to build and advance capabilities in Influencer Marketing, Social Listening, SEO-driven Content and Brand Sponsorships.
This role will lead efforts to shape and execute integrated strategies across paid, owned and earned channels that engage our target healthcare audiences and drive ROI for our portfolio of pharmaceutical brands. Success in this role requires a background in healthcare marketing with experience navigating regulated industry guidelines, as well as being a self-started who can build partnership within white space and cross-functional teams.
We need an innovative thinker who can operate in a matrixed environment to translate audience insights and capabilities into strategic plans that accelerate campaign performance and business growth. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maximize social-first engagement strategies to drive brand or therapeutic area objectives and Marketing ROI.
  • Understand the consumer and HCP audience landscape within health/pharma and have a clear point of view on effective navigation based on marketing briefs.
  • Lead partnership operation with media planning team to bring synergies or amplification of campaign ideas.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for campaigns and recommend solutions based on social listening or search insights.
  • Partner with social listening colleagues to lead projects to analyze insights from reports and shape the recommendations that go to business teams.
  • Lead cross function work to collaborate with corporate affairs and media planners to optimize influencer campaigns with data-driven approaches.
  • Collaborate with and lead agency and vendor partners for execution of opportunistic content activations.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and guidelines in the pharmaceutical space.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of latest cultural trends, platforms and best practices for media campaigns.
  • Contribute leadership for new capability development within Audience Engagement Team Center of Excellence.
  • Develop and manage budget, resources, and integrated project timelines to ensure campaign execution and results.
  • This highly visible role will be a key member of the Audience Engagement & Activation team partnering closely with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Corporate Affairs and Brands.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 5 years of experience; OR a PhD with 1+ years of experience.
  • 6+ years of experience either in-house or at the agency setting
  • Demonstrates expertise in social media platforms, influencer marketing strategies, and listening tools and analytics
  • Successful track record designing and implementing high-impact integrated campaigns from conception through execution
  • Project management skills coordinating multifaceted campaigns and initiatives
  • Forward-thinking mindset with the creativity and vision to build innovative solutions for unmet needs
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Mastery in staying compliant with the complex legal and regulatory guidelines surrounding influencer marketing and branded content
  • Experience guiding organizations through transformations and periods of change
  • Skilled at communicating compelling narratives and campaign visions
  • Adept at persuading both internal and external stakeholders of the merits and potential business value of proposed ideas and strategies
  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to navigate matrixed organizations
  • Drives strategy while simultaneously orchestrating flawless execution at speed
  • Embodies courage, excellence, equity and joy while elevating those values across teams
  • Executive poise and influence to interact effectively across all organizational levels

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120,800.00 to $201,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
