Role and Responsibilities
As the Consumer Electronics Business Merchandising Analyst, you will be responsible for the gathering, consolidation, and maintenance of the SKU- and store-level product assortment database across key US retailers and product categories as follows:
  • Products - TV, Digital Audio, Monitors, Refrigerators, Laundry, Cooking, and Dishwasher
  • Retailers – Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowes, Costco, Sams, Regionals
In this role, you will partner with CE Business Planning, Product Marketing, Sales, and the CE Retail team.
Skills and Qualifications
  • As part of the Home Entertainment and Digital Appliances One Launch Go To Market task force teams, understand and track product assortment shipping and retailer reset dates
  • Working with Product Marketing and Sales teams, gather and consolidate product assortment flooring lists by SKU and store, for the categories and retailers listed above, and organize product assortment lists into a database
  • Support product reset and merchandising plans by providing detail at SKU / store level to all teams and stakeholders involved in reset plans – Sales, Retail Operations, Merchandising, Retail Field, and Training teams, and feed into go-to-market plans for product resets and launches
  • Provide quality control for any field execution or audit surveys to capture product reset execution or audits performed in stores
  • Review product reset execution and audit reports for accuracy against the main product assortment database, and provide executive-level reporting on progress and status updates
  • Maintain and refresh the product assortment database as assortment changes throughout the year, at category / SKU and store level
Background/Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred but not required
  • 8+ years of related experience is required.
  • Prior experience in consumer electronics and consumer electronics retailers preferred
  • Prior project management experience in an environment with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and vendors required
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Standard Office Suite and advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with various database solutions preferred
  • Ability to successfully navigate a highly matrixed corporate landscape and lead by influence with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
