Senior Manager, Creative Catalyst Pathway, Barrier Unlock Lead
LOCATION
Hybrid; 2-3 days onsite per week.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of experience; or a master's degree with at least 5 years of experience in product marketing or marketing operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills are required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead projects to identify and remove creative barriers, conduct root cause analyses, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and inspire a high-performance culture. Work closely with agency partners to evolve guidelines and improve marketing workflows.

The Senior Manager, Creative Catalyst Pathway will drive business performance by unlocking creative barriers within the organization through effective project management and cross-functional collaboration.
The Senior Manager, Creative Catalyst Pathway, Barrier Unlock will play a pivotal role in bringing to operational life and executing our Creative Catalyst Pathway initiative designed to systematically unlock creative barriers across the organization to drive business performance.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Spearhead current Barrier Unlock projects (e.g., unified approach to Regulatory guidance, System 1 learnings and application, consistent MLR approach to testimonials, etc.,) via Pfizer enterprise approach to solving barriers that get in the way of creative excellence.
- Support the Senior Director in identification and implementation of new opportunities – working alongside Marketers and Legal, Medical and Regulatory - to remove internal and external barriers that get in the way of optimal creative power.
- Help inspire a high-performance team culture, inclusive of partnership model with Global and US product marketers that foster creativity, collaboration, and a drive for results.
- Conduct root cause analyses to pinpoint procedural, guideline and other bottlenecks that limit creative teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with groups like Marketing, Regulatory, and Medical to uncover creative barriers.
- Lead special working groups and task forces to create and execute solutions. This will require bringing together the right experts, facilitating discussions, and building alignment on recommendations.
- Work closely with agency partners to collaborate on addressing creative barriers and evolving guidelines to enable breakthrough work.
- Contribute creative operations expertise to help scale centralized approaches that empower marketing teams, free them from obstacles, and accelerate workflow.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 5 years of experience.
- 6+ years’ experience in product marketing/marketing operations in the pharmaceutical industry or a similarly regulated environment.
- Experience navigating Pfizer via Marketing or Agency side
- Strong project management skills - and proficient in Excel and PPT - with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions and geographies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage leadership and inspire teams.
- Proven ability to translate business goals and product marketer pain-points into actionable process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to manage diverse multi-disciplinary teams spread over multiple functions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop team members, with a focus on career growth and mentorship.
- Collaborative and resourceful team player with a talent for inspiring and partnering with colleagues to achieve marketing excellence.
- Experience with regulatory compliance in pharmaceutical marketing is highly desirable.
