The Senior Manager, Paid Search will drive growth through strategic oversight of paid search marketing efforts and lead a team to maximize ROI across platforms.
The Senior Manager, Paid Search will oversee the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid search marketing efforts, focusing on driving growth and maximizing ROI across multiple search platforms, including Google Ads, Bing Ads, and emerging platforms. This role has a significant technical and analytical focus, requiring the ability to interpret data, execute complex paid search strategies, and lead a team of specialists. The Senior Manager Paid Search will collaborate closely with the broader digital marketing team to ensure alignment across paid media channels and contribute to overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Paid Search Strategy & Execution:
- Lead the development and execution of paid search strategies that align with overall business goals and digital marketing objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, and future search platforms, ensuring optimal performance and ROI.
- Manage large-scale paid search budgets and optimize spend to drive maximum performance and efficiency.
- Lead testing initiatives to continually refine ad copy, bidding strategies, targeting, and audience segmentation.

Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of Paid Search Specialists (Text Ads and Shopping Ads), providing guidance, feedback, and training to develop their skills.
- Ensure the team delivers high-quality, data-driven insights and optimizations, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with the Director of Digital Marketing to align paid search efforts with broader digital marketing campaigns and strategies.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the SEO, Paid Social, and Display teams to ensure integrated marketing strategies across all channels.
- Partner with the analytics and eCommerce teams to align paid search efforts with performance targets and conversion optimization goals.
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop and optimize ad copy, creatives, and landing pages to improve campaign performance.

Data-driven Optimization:
- Leverage advanced analytics and performance data to optimize campaign performance, including keyword targeting, bidding strategies, ad formats, and more.
- Regularly report on campaign performance, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders and recommending improvements.
- Utilize data analysis tools such as SQL and Excel to drive campaign decision-making and optimizations.

Technical Competence:
- Maintain strong technical expertise in paid search platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads), feed management tools, and analytics platforms.
- Utilize advanced data-driven methodologies, including statistical analysis, to uncover optimization opportunities.
- Ensure campaigns are set up and managed with precision, with a focus on data accuracy, tracking, and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in paid search marketing with a strong track record of driving growth and ROI.
- Proven experience managing large-scale paid search campaigns, with significant budgets across multiple platforms.
- Proficiency in Google Ads, Bing Ads, and paid search tools such as Google Analytics, Google Merchant Center, and feed management platforms like Feedonomics.
- Strong technical and data analysis skills, with experience using SQL, Excel, and reporting tools.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
**Preference is for this position to be hybrid out of our Lincolnshire, IL offices. Remote candidates will be considered and occasional travel to our Lincolnshire, IL offices may be required.**

The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below.
Pay Range:
