SHORT DESCRIPTION
Seeking a Senior Marketing and Communications Manager to drive sports sponsorship programs and brand initiatives, enhancing client relationships and supporting business goals at Western Alliance Bank.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, a strategic thinker with a passion for sports, a talent for building relationships, and a proven track record
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to support Western Alliance Bank.
- Develop strategies and create and execute marketing campaigns that leverage the sports sponsorship assets to drive brand awareness and client and prospect engagement.
- Plan and execute special events at sports facilities for sports sponsorships.
- Manage the relationship with sponsored organization, including contracted benefits, budgets, and use of sponsor-hosted channels.
- Act as a liaison between PR agency partners and internal partners on media related matters including, but not limited to, sports sponsorship.
- Evaluate market trends and customer insights to guide sponsorship and marketing strategies.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and visibility across all marketing and sponsorship touchpoints in area of responsibility.
- Manage development of promotional materials and content related to sports sponsorships and other brand related projects.
- Collaborate effectively with the broader marketing team through phases of campaign planning, design, content management, development, measurement, and reporting. Coordinate internal resources across teams to achieve project milestones and deadlines.
- Develop KPIs and monitor and evaluate the performance of sports sponsorships and other marketing campaigns.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sponsorship outcomes and marketing metrics to senior management.
- Utilize data and analytics to optimize sponsorship strategies, brand and marketing efforts.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, sponsorship management, event management, communications, or a related role, preferably within the sports industry.
- Strong understanding of the sports industry and its marketing dynamics.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and executing sports marketing campaigns and sponsorships.
- Experience working with media outlets/journalists and crafting messages/press releases.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop innovative marketing solutions.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics and performance measurement tools. Experience with Dynamics 365 preferred.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for sports and a deep understanding of sports and their fan bases.
- Preferred: Collaborate effectively with the broader marketing team through phases of campaign planning, design, content management, development, measurement, and reporting. Coordinate internal resources within the digital function and across departments to achieve project.
- May require up to 10% travel.
