QUALIFICATIONS

The Senior Marketing Consultant will be responsible for strategic marketing initiatives that support recruitment and retention goals for Team Buckeye at OSUCCC – James.
Scope of Position
The Department of Marketing, Communications and Digital Strategy is responsible for the overall brand management and communications and marketing activities on behalf of the entire Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute and the College of Medicine. This senior consultant position sits within the Growth Marketing and Reputation Strategy Team and will support the strategic recruitment and retention goals of Team Buckeye at the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James)
Position Summary
The Senior Marketing Consultant is a strategist responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the recruitment and retention plans that align with the strategic and financial objectives for Team Buckeye and Pelotonia within the OSUCCC – James, the medical center, and the university. The ideal candidate will be an excellent collaborator capable of building and maintaining relationships both with clients and within the department, health system and university. This position is expected to be able to utilize MS Office; be an effective public speaker and possess excellent verbal and written communications skills; have familiarity and comfort level with using various digital communication and engagement platforms. They must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapt to constant change, and provide innovative solutions to enhance engagement, participation, and recognition of Team Buckeye and Pelotonia.
