Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Product Marketing, Visa is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Marketing Manager of Operations to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing budget tracking and management, procurement oversight, and process development and documentation. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a proven track record in operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Budget Tracking and Management:
- Lead budget management for Global Product Marketing in collaboration with finance to ensuring that teams manage costs effectively and efficiently and align with the overall financial goals.
- Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process working with Global Product Marketing leads to create a budget proposal aligned to the team’s strategic goals.
- Conduct in-depth trend analysis and forecasting to inform strategic marketing decisions and optimize campaign performance.
- Develop and implement ROI modeling techniques using marketing budgets to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Utilize advanced analytical skills to interpret complex data sets, providing actionable insights to drive marketing operations and improve overall efficiency.
Procurement Oversight:
- Oversee the procurement process for the team ensuring in compliance with company policies and troubleshoot procurement-related issues and roadblocks.
- Manage the process for hiring contractors and temporary staff.
Process Development and Documentation:
- Develop and implement standardized processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the marketing team.
- Document all processes and ensure they are communicated and adhered to by the team.
- Lead risk assessments and manage internal audits.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability in time management and ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and management skills
- Strong attention to detail

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 127,400.00 to 165,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
