Bachelor's degree in public relations, journalism, marketing, or communications, or equivalent professional experience. Experience in healthcare settings is preferred.

Senior Marketing, Project Management, & Outreach Specialist
Join Memorial Health and be at the heart of growing our brand and reaching new audiences! In this role, you'll collaborate with a dynamic team to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive patient acquisition, retention, and engagement. As a project management coordinator, you’ll keep exciting initiatives organized and help execute them across Memorial Hospital, the Memorial Health Foundation, and the Memorial Medical Group. You'll ensure teams have everything they need to succeed, overcoming obstacles to meet deadlines and deliver top-notch results. As a key player in outreach, you'll build valuable relationships with community leaders, organize health fairs, and create physician outreach plans that boost service line growth. You’ll also be our go-to for maintaining our online brand reputation, responding to reviews, and keeping our online presence fresh across all platforms. Whether you’re helping coordinate events or working behind the scenes on sponsorships, you’ll make sure everything aligns with our brand and goals. With your expertise, you'll help keep Memorial Health shining as a trusted resource for patients and the community.
Marketing and Project Management - 50%
In cooperation with marketing team, conduct professional, persuasive writing and storytelling to promote the services and programs within the Memorial Health system. Content must engage and connect with consumers across multiple channels including, but not limited to, digital platforms, website, landing pages, social media, email marketing, video projects, online advertisements, blogs, print advertisements, flyers, press releases, and brochures. Complete writing assignments associated with marketing plans and campaigns. Assist Foundation team with donor correspondence including newsletters, campaign solicitations, and case statements. Develop copy for system intranet, employee newsletters, and other forms of internal communication, as assigned. Assist with the coordination of photo and video shoots, as needed. Meet with other system departments' physicians, providers, directors, and staff to interview subject matter experts, gather accurate information, and develop content for writing assignments. Interview patients and caregivers to understand their journey and capture their stories in a compelling manner to engage consumer audiences.
Brand Adherence - 25%
Carry out content quality assurance checks on marketing and communications platforms including website content, patient education, flyers, brochures, and patient (inpatient and outpatient) discharge folders. In collaboration with owning departments, make edits as needed.
Media - 15%
Carry out publicity and media assignments. Collect articles for and manage news archive. Assist system's Public Information Officers, performing crisis communication, as necessary.
Reporting - 5%
Compile earned digital and traditional media reports for completed assignments and report to marketing team. Work with departments to build requested surveys utilizing our survey platform and report gathered responses and data to stakeholders.
Requirements
Advanced knowledge of writing principles normally acquired through completion of a bachelor's in public relations, journalism, marketing or communications. Will consider a combination of demonstrated, expansive professional experience and education in place of a formal degree in one of these areas. Experience in health care settings is appreciated.
