Seeking a Senior Product Designer to create intuitive software experiences, collaborate across teams, and contribute to a unified customer experience effectively meeting diverse customer needs.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who cares deeply about our customers and distilling complex problems into thoughtful, beautiful, holistic software experiences. We’re looking for those who naturally do their best work when collaborating with engineering, product, and marketing. Our design squad is a multi-disciplinary team comprising product design, product owners, and software engineering. We work cross-functionally with just about every team to deliver a unified customer experience that inspires and brings value to our diverse customer base.


Location -
We are flexible on remote working from home, if you are located in the USA and reside in one of the following states - CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, *IL, KS, ME, MA, NJ, NC, OR, TX and VA. We have physical offices in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL, if you prefer a hybrid option.


We hire the best technical talent, but experience in our stack can’t hurt: NinjaOne
is built on Java, Kotlin, C++, and Postgres, supporting millions of user endpoints and running as a scalable cloud service in AWS. We are using Figma and Maze for our primary product design tools.

What You’ll be Doing

  • Design new software product features and enhancements that align with the business’ top priorities.

  • Work closely with product management, engineering, and leadership to create and deliver the highest quality user experiences.

  • Plan and perform design research with customers, synthesizing and broadcasting findings across the organization.

  • Play an active role in advocating for the UX of our diverse customer base with data and in-depth research to help meet their unique needs.

  • Contribute to, document, and maintain our growing Design System.

  • Provide Technical Software Subject Matter Expertise.

  • Other duties as needed.


About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Software Engineering or Fine Art is preferred but not required.

  • 5+ years’ experience providing B2B user interfaces and experience designs for a SaaS company.

  • IT Operations, Systems Administration, Software Support or Software Development experience will make you a standout candidate.

  • Previous experience working in an Agile software development life cycle.

  • Experience using principles of visual design and information architecture to create easy to use and intuitive user interfaces.

  • Expertise in interaction design with examples of complex software applications you have designed.

  • Expertise in Sketch, Figma, or related design tool.

  • Experience analyzing and synthesizing data and research into actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and design solutions.

  • Experience in creating, contributing to, and maintaining design systems.

  • Experience working alongside product management and engineering teams in delivering features to market.

  • A strong portfolio of work that shows you were directly responsible for the success of high impact projects and initiatives that have benefited software users.

  • Due to operational policies, NinjaOne is unable to hire for this role within the city limits of Chicago. We will consider all qualified candidates who reside outside of the city proper or are willing to self-relocate.


Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to location, market demands, experience, job-related knowledge, and skills. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage and PTO. For roles based in California or Colorado, the base salary hiring range for this position is $120,000 to $220,000 per year.
