Amazon is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Global Accounts Payable Financial Operations Services team to drive improvements in procure-to-pay processes, manage cross-functional projects, and enhance overall customer experience.
Amazon is hiring a Senior Product Manager for the Global Accounts Payable Financial Operations Services team that supports the Retail, Digital and Corporate procure to pay processes. Amazon businesses are growing and expanding at a rapid pace resulting in a dynamic work environment with many opportunities. This position is the front line of our products driving global improvements and initiatives within Accounts Payable Financial Operations Services procure to pay processes. You will manage projects and collaborate with system and business owners globally to drive end-to-end improvements and visibility to the procure to pay lifecycle. An ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding work environment is critical to this role. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, a quick learner, and will have the ability to efficiently manage various high-priority, cross-functional projects with leadership visibility that will allow Amazon to scale. This candidate will also be able to perform analysis and interpret data to demonstrate the benefits being delivered with the proposed technical solutions. Areas of responsibility: The ideal candidate is a self-starter and will willfully and diligently perform the following responsibilities on a consistent basis with little or no direction from management: · Manage product roadmaps with accountability to deliver on expected targets (quality, compliance, cost, return on investment). · Develop business requirements for system improvements to support Amazon’s growth and strategic business design. · Ability to aggregate information to generate compelling stories representing the user experience to influence and drive organizational change. · Maintain end to end responsibility of key AP process(es) and collaborate with technology teams to understand, measure, and improve support systems. · Maintain project plans, assigning and tracking tasks to respective teams. Locate and identify sources of data, determine the validity of the data, and analyze the variance in the data between various systems and reports. Exceptional discipline of meeting deadlines while managing multiple projects. · Actively seek opportunities to increase agility by identifying future needs to evolve systems, processes, services and solutions to support strategic growth and development. · Support offshore transactional teams with root cause identification, identifying appropriate remediation and execute on a project plan with appropriate level of urgency. Partner with peers to provide global solutions. · Serve as a key business partner working directly with business leaders and cross-functional teams, presenting results of ad hoc business and statistical analysis and recommendations to senior management for optimal decision making. Define and measure quality metrics to ensure optimum customer experience. · Measure and monitor customer (payee) experience metrics and correlate back to measurable shared goals with internal business partners. · Demonstrate advanced analytical skills and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture. Key job responsibilities Key responsibilities involve managing and owning product delivery through establishing or aligning with overall vision, creating requirements that translate to technical design and delivery. Managing roadmaps based on customer impact, tech effort and overall funding capabilities. This role will work with global teams in operations, business partnering, procurement and business teams directly to identify the main areas for opportunity and deliver on those improvements with committed impact. A day in the life On a daily basis, you will be working collaboratively with several global teams first aligning on priorities, then aligning on areas of ownership and always staying connected and providing transparency to deliver success. About the team This role will be working with a team of both product and program managers. The linkage between the two is critical to the success of the product deliverables, as the product manager needs to ensure the committed impacts are being delivered and driving improvement to output goals owned by the program managers. The overall goal of the team is to provide the best experience for our customers (both externally and internally) who are using our tools. We look around corners to avoid surprises and use data to proactively drive improvements.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
