SHORT DESCRIPTION

Sage Therapeutics is hiring a Senior Product Manager to develop and execute medical education marketing initiatives for a new depression treatment, focusing on HCP awareness and education.

General Scope and Summary

Sage Therapeutics is searching for a Senior Product Manager to partner in the development and execution of HCP Medical education marketing initiatives to support the launch of a new treatment for depression. This position will be integral for executing against key launch strategies, including development of a range of assets to drive HCP awareness and education. The position requires a highly motivated individual who can work independently, think strategically, and collaborate transversally to accomplish complex deliverables.

Roles and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Work closely the Senior Director, HCP Marketing to ensure tactics are aligned with brand business objectives

  • Partner in the development , execution, and implementation of core Medical educational initiatives and materials for HCPs including Speaker Programs, Advisory Boards and Congresses

  • Collaborate with operations to facilitate KME engagements

  • Maintain relationships Key Opinion Leaders

  • Manage materials, projects, and resources through the internal review committee process (MLR)

  • Manage multiple agency partners including management of associated budgets

  • Manage vendor contract processing (purchasing requisitions, invoices, and approvals)

  • Collaborate with multiple functional groups across the organization, including but not limited to Sales, Regulatory, Market Access, Market Research, Commercial Operations, Legal and Compliance, Patient Advocacy, and Medical Affairs

  • Align all efforts with Collaboration partner, including congress execution including attendance, booth design, product theater organization and content development, and KME engagement coordination with marketing operations

Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills

Must thrive working in a fast-paced, innovative environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to develop important relationships with key stakeholders, good conflict management and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into action; excellent analytical skills and an ability to communicate complex issues in a simple way.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • 5+ years in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry (e.g consulting, marketing, sales, market research, market access etc.) Including a minimum 2+ years of marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in developing HCP campaigns is a plus

  • CNS or Women’s Health experience is a plus

  • Launch experience is a plus

  • External customer relationship management a plus

  • Understanding of the regulatory environment for promotion

  • Experience managing external brand agencies and vendors

  • An outstanding track record of strong communication, presentation, analytic and strategic capabilities

  • Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize and manage multiple projects, and effectively influence, collaborate, and communicate with internal and external partners

  • Ability to build strong relationships with co-workers of various backgrounds and expertise

Benefits and Compensation

The base salary hiring range for this position is $139,685 - $192,067.*
  • The actual salary offered within the range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, education, skills, and performance.
  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan; the bonus varies based on performance and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program.
