QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS in a relevant field (MBA preferred), 6+ years of healthcare marketing experience (4+ years in a brand or patient marketing role preferred), proven success in agency/vendor management and project management, and strong understanding of patient engagement strategies and regulatory environment for pharmaceutical marketing.

Verona Pharma is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Patient Marketing to shape patient-focused marketing strategies for chronic respiratory diseases, drive impactful campaigns, and collaborate across teams to enhance patient lives.

What You’ll Do:
- Support annual marketing plans, including brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and tactics.
- Lead patient-focused marketing activities, including materials (e.g., starter kits, direct mail, webcasts) and advocacy partnerships (e.g., COPDF, ALA).
- Oversee promotional material review processes to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and medical standards.
- Partner with digital marketing and analytics teams to optimize the performance of patient marketing initiatives.
- Engage and manage agency partners to deliver creative, on-budget, and on-time marketing assets.
- Track and analyze KPIs and ROI for patient marketing initiatives, leveraging insights to refine strategies.
- Maintain expertise in the disease state, product landscape, and competitive environment.
- BA/BS in a relevant field; MBA preferred.
- 6+ years of healthcare marketing experience, with 4+ years in a brand or patient marketing role (pharmaceutical/biotech preferred).
- Proven success in agency/vendor management and project management.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of patient engagement strategies and the regulatory environment for pharmaceutical marketing.
- While we value and support remote work, this position requires a local presence in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area for periodic in-person collaboration, training, and important team meetings.
