The Senior Product Marketing Manager for the Literacy Suite at Amplify will lead product marketing efforts, ensuring effective communication and successful market introduction of literacy programs, ultimately impacting millions of students.

The Senior Product Marketing Manager, Literacy Suite is a key player on a high-performing product team at Amplify. This role is crucial to the success of the product, sales, and marketing teams, and the Senior PMM will be passionate about the opportunity to positively impact the lives of millions of students through Amplify’s literacy programs.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adept at prioritizing competing demands. They can shift between strategic thinking and hands-on execution, owning product marketing for the Literacy suite from end to end.
This role reports to the Director, Literacy A&I and Supplementals Marketing and works cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to drive revenue for Amplify’s early literacy suite.
Essential Responsibilities:
Product Marketing and GTM Strategy:
  • In-depth understanding of product marketing principles, including positioning, messaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Identifies strategic opportunities for the Literacy Suite, aligning tactics and strategies to achieve enterprise-level business goals.
  • Leads go-to-market planning and execution for new product launches and feature updates.
  • Collaborates with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure successful product introductions and adoption.
Product Positioning and Messaging:
  • Develops compelling, customer-centric product positioning for Amplify’s literacy suite, effectively articulating the value of Amplify’s connected literacy programs.
  • Crafts messaging that communicates differentiated value propositions and benefits to K-12 stakeholders.
  • Ensures messaging consistency across all customer-facing touchpoints, including marketing and sales materials.
Sales and Marketing Enablement:
  • Oversees the creation of high-quality marketing materials, including case studies, white papers, webinars, blog posts, and sales enablement tools.
  • Partners with the Content and Growth Marketing teams on campaign strategy and messaging to drive MQLs.
  • Owns literacy suite messaging on Amplify.com, collaborating with the web team to optimize key pages for SEO and conversion.
  • Works closely with Sales to develop training, resources, and tools that support effective cross-selling between literacy programs.
Market and Customer Research:
  • Participates in market research projects (e.g., surveys, conjoint studies, etc.) in partnership with the research team to understand broader market forces.
  • Analyzes industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform product positioning and sales/marketing strategies.
  • Synthesizes research to develop actionable insights that will influence the product roadmap.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively
  • Experience in coordinating and communicating between multiple stakeholders at varying organizational levels
  • Exceptional writing skills with a strong attention to detail (grammar, punctuation, phrasing, and structure)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in education, EdTech, or education publishing
  • Experience marketing SaaS products to schools and districts
What we offer:

Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, stock options, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $120,000 - $125,000. This role is eligible to earn an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
