As the Senior Product Marketing Manager - Microsoft Teams, for Platform & Agents, you will drive awareness, advocacy, and adoption of Microsoft Teams’ extensibility capabilities. In this role, you will create awareness of the various extensibility capabilities of Teams, including the integration of agents and other advanced functionalities. You will gather valuable insights from customers, analysts, and the press to inform product innovation and positioning.

Responsibilities

The Senior Product Marketing Manager, Microsoft Teams is responsible for developing differentiated product messaging and positioning, building conviction among customers/analysts/partners, and partnering with the Product team to drive product innovation for Teams Platform and app/agent ecosystem. The following are the primary accountabilities of the role:
  • Deliver R&D feedback and shape product plans representing business opportunity and customer and partner product needs, including industry shifts and competitive trends.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and product innovation leadership with customers, partners, industry analysts, and press.
  • Design and execute marketing plans to grow measurable market traction and perception.
  • Drive business stewardship and product marketing depth across several focus areas, including Microsoft Teams Platform and agent/app ecosystem.
  • Craft clear product messaging and positioning to articulate customer value and differentiate the product.
  • Represent the Microsoft Teams product in briefings to Field sellers, analysts, press, and investors.
  • Foster a caring and inclusive team culture.
  • Embody our culture and values.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business
    • OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business
    • OR equivalent experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of SaaS marketing, product management, or relevant management consulting experience; enterprise collaboration SaaS and/or developer-focused SaaS product marketing experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with developer user persona, as it relates to Enterprise SaaS.
  • Successful track record of close collaboration with product management leadership, with experience translating complex technical capabilities into clear customer value propositions.
  • Demonstrated ability to create clarity around complex business challenges, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and communicate results to an executive audience.
  • Impact oriented with successful history of driving business outcomes.
  • Ability to excel in an ambiguous environment and re-prioritize to align with business objectives.
  • Proven attention to detail, with a high bar for quality deliverables (written and presentations); proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
