SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Public Relations Manager will drive PR strategies to enhance Citrix’s market reputation, manage media relations, and ensure cohesive communications across all platforms.
As the Public Relations (PR) Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing PR strategies that align to the goals of the Citrix business and energize our reputation in the market. You will manage the media relations program, building and maintaining relationships with key reporters in our targeted publications, and manage the day-to-day work of our agency partners.
Responsibilities:
Craft compelling stories that resonate with stakeholders, ensuring our external messaging is clear and impactful
Build and nurture relationships with key media outlets and reporters through proactive outreach, responding to media inquiries, and managing communications effectively across various platforms.
Proactively develop and implement PR campaigns that align to the larger marketing narratives and help energize Citrix’s reputation
Monitor and analyze the media and industry landscape to keep Citrix included in relevant and important conversations
Partner with Citrix leadership to ensure media readiness for all key spokespeople
Collaborate with internal teams to align communications objectives and deliver cohesive messaging across all channels
Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of communications efforts to ensure continuous improvement
Manage the day-to-day relationship with Citrix’s communications agency partners
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
5+ years of experience in public relations or communications, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.

Skills & Abilities:
Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in media relations and handling press inquiries.
Ability to think strategically and act proactively in fast-paced environments.
Experience managing crisis communications and media strategies.
Solid understanding of digital and social media platforms and how to leverage them for PR purposes.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through.
Ability to build relationships and collaborate across departments.
Experience in the B2B technology industry
Familiarity with PR software and tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater, etc.).
Knowledge of SEO and content marketing strategies.
Proven track record of media placements in targeted outlets
