Senior Sales Account Executive
LOCATION
Remote, with travel required for trade shows and client meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven track record in sales, particularly software sales, with experience in prospecting, presenting, and closing deals. Strong understanding of sales cycles and relationship management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieve sales quotas by prospecting new clients, expanding services to existing clients, managing the sales cycle, responding to RFPs, and providing timely management reports. Maintain regular contact with clients and support marketing initiatives.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Drive sales growth by acquiring new clients and enhancing services for existing clients through effective sales strategies and relationship management in the software industry.
- Achieve Order Value sales quota as defined in the Performance Pay Compensation Plan, for new Clients as the first priority.
- Responsible for prospecting, presenting and closing deals that provide new and profitable revenue to CHR.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue objectives within assigned sales territory.
- Manage all aspects of the sales cycle including qualification of opportunities, development of a sales strategy, and coordination of all sales team resources, final negotiation and closing of business.
- New Clients:
- Identify and pursue target clients in the assigned territory.
- Support CHR Sales Professionals execute sales campaigns in their target accounts.
- Support CHR Marketing by contacting every lead passed.
- Pass all cross sell leads to the appropriate Solution Sales Specialist.
- Expand service provided to existing Clients:
- Segment the clients from most potential to least potential to up sell.
- Create a contact plan to touch current clients commensurate with the potential return on investment of time.
- Support Product Marketing identify and sell appropriate solutions to clients on near end of life to the most appropriate next generation solutions.
- Escalate client complaints and issues to the appropriate support organizations who are accountable for resolution.
- Pass all cross-sell leads to the appropriate Solution Sales Specialist.
- Keep the assigned CHR Sales Professional and Regional Sales manager up to date on all activities.
- Reporting:
- Keep up to date information in CHR’s systems of record.
- Provide timely and accurate management reports including forecasts.
- Leveraging partners and existing customers in territory to support sales efforts.
- For all sales opportunities, accurately forecast all sales opportunities by step of sale in line with the Sales Funnel Reporting Standards.
- Request For Proposals:
- Accountable for CHR’s response to RFP’s for the assigned solution or services.
- Sales Operations will project-manage resources to complete the RFP but Sales Professional is accountable for the contents and delivery of the final document.
- Proposals, Prices and Statements of Work:
- Develop and deliver non-binding Proposals that address:
- Client Pain Points
- CHR’s Unique Value Proposition
- Assist Sales Operations to draft executable Statements of Work and other agreements
- Presentation of Statements of Work along with the associated pricing and supporting contractual documents for client signature.
- Travels to and attends trade shows and or meetings as requested by the management team and or portfolio leader.
