6+ years of SEO experience (agency preferred), 1-2 years of managing direct reports, mastery of crawling and auditing tools (SEMRush, ScreamingFrog, AHrefs, etc.), strong data analysis skills (Google Analytics, Google Search Console), and exposure to off-page platforms (Yext, Google Business Profile).

SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Senior SEO Manager is responsible for leading SEO strategies for high-profile clients, executing optimizations, mentoring staff, and developing data-driven content strategies.
The Senior SEO Manager is a senior position on the Search Engine Optimization team. Reporting to Associate Director of SEO and/or Director of SEO, you’ll be responsible for managing relationships with high-profile clients, curating unique growth strategies, and executing technical, on-page, and off-page optimizations, and mentoring direct reports with the opportunity to manage. An ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, ability to work independently and in teams, as well as deep understanding of advanced SEO tactics.
You will be expected to build data-informed and keyword-focused content strategies by analyzing and optimizing clients’ owned content, as well as creating new SEO-driven content recommendations. The Senior SEO Manager must have the ability to effectively execute and present audits to prospective clients, lead strategy on large-scale accounts, identify training opportunities and help refine internal processes within the department. Experience managing teams and creating SOPs is strongly preferred.
What You'll Do:
- Create and execute unique SEO campaigns for clients in SaaS, e-commerce, and other industries
- Conduct thorough keyword research and strategize holistic content strategy implementation
- Generate insightful performance reports while educating clients about the impacts of different SEO initiatives
- Support entry-level team members on their individual client projects and career growth
- Contribute to the continuous development of internal processes and training resources
What You'll Bring:
- 6+ years of SEO experience (agency preferred)
- 1-2 years of managing direct reports
- Mastery of crawling and auditing tools (SEMRush, ScreamingFrog, AHrefs, Moz, or similar)
- Strong ability to analyze data and organic performance (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Trends, PageSpeed Insights, etc.)
- Exposure to off-page and listing management platforms (Yext, Google Business Profile, etc.)
