As a Senior Specialist, Data Visualization, you will design and develop high-quality compelling data visualization products to drive programmatic decision making, learning and adaptation for the Business Unit. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs, data use cases and develop clear and compelling data products that transform data into interactive and dynamic visualizations to convey analytical insights, demonstrate results, and communicate analytical findings. You will create understanding and empathy around user needs, stated and unstated, for the Human Health Commercial Analytics team.

Key Responsibilities include and may not be limited to:

  • Creating analytical tools that enable users to assess progress to KPIs as well as to answer critical business questions for the business unit.

  • Managing project timelines to enable accurate reporting and functionality during enterprise system transformations.

  • Managing diverse projects and processes within Sales, Marketing, and Operations Teams.

  • Champion data quality, integrity, and reliability throughout the department by designing and promoting best practices.

  • Lead business requirement sessions with stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with IT/vendor on business requirements for new reporting needs to support field sales and HQ reporting.

  • Test and deploy new capabilities using BI applications.

  • Create new visualizations to enable informed business decisions on strategy and execution.

  • Vendor relationship management ensuring business requirements are clearly articulated and executed.

  • Provide BI training to stakeholders to foster increased understanding and utilization of the information provided.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA).

  • Ability to work hybrid and come on-site at least 3 days per week.

  • Experience delivering business intelligence solutions.

  • Proven analytics and problem-solving skills.

  • Working knowledge in Spotfire / Qlik / PowerBI / Tableau and other data visualization technologies.

  • Strong presentation and collaboration skills and can communicate all aspects of the job requirements.

  • Effective communication skills with an ability to process technical information and translate clearly and concisely to broad audiences.

  • Strong judgment, prioritization, and decision-making skills, with understanding of broader context for Business Unit.

  • Innovative thinking, with affinity toward experimentation and appropriate risk taking.

  • Strong understanding of all compliance-related concepts, including the laws, regulations and policies that govern pharmaceutical marketing and sales activities.

  • Leveraging and managing third party vendors and contractors.

  • Self-motivation, proactivity, and ability to work independently with minimum direction.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills, with ability to navigate a complex matrix environment and organize/prioritize work efficiently and effectively.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead with diverse groups of work colleagues and positively manage ambiguity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in data analysis and visualization, specifically within a commercial analytics or business intelligence environment.

  • Experience working with Business Intelligence tools such as Spotfire, Qlik, PowerBI, and Tableau.

  • Knowledge and experience working in the Pharma and/or Biotech industry.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Expected US salary range:

$111,400.00 - $175,300.00
