Job Description:

The Senior Digital Shelf Specialist (eRetail) is responsible for ensuring digital shelf excellence across key eRetail platforms, including Amazon, Marketplaces, and other .com Retailers. This role will manage the optimization of Nespresso USA’s product listings for visibility, accuracy, and consumer engagement, contributing to sales growth across digital sales channels. Through cross-functional collaboration, this role will also ensure that all digital touchpoints are optimized to elevate Nespresso’s online presence and drive measurable outcomes. This is a hybrid based opportunity (2 days onsite at Nespresso USA’s NYC Manhattan Herald Square office) and the rest remotely from home.

Responsibilities:

Digital Shelf Management

  • Product Content: Ensure product content (titles, descriptions, images, search visibility) across platforms like Amazon, Walmart.com, Target.com, and others is optimized for search visibility and conversions; Collaborate with cross functional teams to localize content based on Global guidelines.
  • Strategic Framework Development: Establish and implement processes to ensure Nespresso consistently improves its Digital Retail presence by tracking key performance metrics such as Availability, Discoverability, and Attractiveness on the digital shelf.
  • Brand Store Management: Maintain and update Brand Stores on eRetail platforms.

Visibility & Performance Optimization

  • Digital Shelf Visibility: Collaborate with eRetail partners (Amazon, Marketplaces, etc.) to improve Nespresso’s product visibility using digital merchandising tools, ensuring Nespresso's top-ranking status in relevant categories and eRetail search results.
  • Data Drive Performance Insights: Analyze and report on digital shelf performance metrics, including click-through rates, reviews, and product views. Leverage insights from Pacvue, Data Impact, and other tools to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Content Refresh/Seasonality: Ensure Nespresso's Brand Store's and product pages are updated seasonally to reflect new product launches, ongoing promotions, and key campaigns, driving both consideration and conversion.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution

  • Alignment with Business Goals: Partner with Customer Account teams (Commercial Development, Marketing, Data & Analytics and Supply Chain) to ensure digital shelf initiatives, including Brand Store updates, align with Nespresso’s overall business objectives and drive results across the coffee and machines categories.
  • Operational Excellence: Work closely with eRetail partners to implement new features or merchandising tactics that enhance customer experience and align with the brand’s strategy; Lead execution and ensure all updates, particularly seasonal Brand Store changes, are delivered on time.
  • Innovation and Growth: Stay informed on industry trends and recommend new strategies and technologies to drive digital shelf performance and future growth. Support the rollout of new digital shelf tools and features across platforms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Management or in a related field required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • 3+ years of professional work experience in in eCommerce, Digital Merchandising or in Digital Shelf management required.
  • Experience launching Marketplace required.
  • Demonstrated fluency in MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook) is required.
  • Must have excellent communication (oral and written), presentation, time management and stakeholder management skills (including the ability to develop and maintain strong, cross-functional stakeholder relationships).
  • Must be a creative and effective problem solver with a strategic planning mindset.
  • Must be data-driven with the ability to story tell through data and influence key business decisions and Senior Leadership alike.
  • Willing and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Must possess strong analytical skills including performing Sales and CRM figures analyses.
  • Must be detail-oriented, agile, possess a customer-centric mindset and have knowledge of Omnichannel business management.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 5% based on the needs of the team and the business.

The approximate pay range for this position is $110,000 to $125,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as geographic location.
