Position Overview
535 Media is seeking an experienced SEO Specialist with strong technical skills, including CMS management and HTML expertise, to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on optimizing client websites to improve organic search rankings, enhance online visibility, and drive measurable results. The ideal candidate is data-driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about the ever-evolving world of search engine optimization.

Key Responsibilities

● SEO Strategy and Implementation: Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to client goals, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.

● Content Optimization: Collaborate with content creators to optimize web pages, blogs, and landing pages for target keywords and user intent.

● CMS Management: Update and manage websites using popular content management systems (WordPress, Drupal, etc.), ensuring SEO best practices are applied.

● Technical SEO: Audit websites for technical issues, optimize site structure, improve site speed, and ensure mobile responsiveness.

● HTML Optimization: Modify HTML and metadata to improve crawlability, indexing, and search engine visibility.

● Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify opportunities for organic growth and refine client targeting strategies.

● Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO platforms (SEMRush, Ahrefs, etc.), generating regular reports for clients.

● Competitor Analysis: Benchmark performance against competitors and recommend actionable insights.

● Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest trends, algorithms, and best practices in the SEO and digital marketing landscape.

Qualifications

● Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on SEO experience in an agency or similar environment.

● Technical Skills:

○ Proficiency in CMS platforms like WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.

○ Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for SEO purposes.

○ Familiarity with website performance tools like GTmetrix or PageSpeed Insights.

● Tools: Expertise in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Google tools (Analytics, Search Console).

● Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret data and metrics to inform strategies and improve outcomes.

● Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience with schema markup and structured data.

● Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and their impact on SEO.

● Familiarity with paid search campaigns and how SEO integrates with SEM efforts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
