The E-commerce Specialist will oversee the Shopify website, product photography, inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer service, ensuring a seamless shopping experience and efficient operations.
Position Overview: The E-commerce Specialist will be responsible for creating and managing our Shopify website, taking high-quality product photos, creating and managing inventory, generating barcodes, and efficiently packing and shipping orders received through our website. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for e-commerce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shopify Website Creation and Management:
- Design, develop, and maintain our Shopify website.
- Customize themes and templates to align with our brand identity.
- Ensure the website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for conversions.
- Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings.
- Product Photography:
- Take high-quality photos of products for the website.
- Edit and enhance photos to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Upload and organize product images on the Shopify platform.
- Inventory Management:
- Create and manage product listings, including descriptions, pricing, and stock levels.
- Monitor inventory levels and update the website accordingly.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely restocking of products.
- Barcode Creation:
- Generate and assign barcodes to new products.
- Ensure barcodes are accurately linked to product listings in the inventory system.
- Order Fulfillment:
- Pack and ship orders received through the website.
- Ensure orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing area.
- Customer Service:
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to orders and products.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall shopping experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Shopify website creation and management.
- Proficiency in product photography and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with inventory management and barcode creation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
