Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shopify E-commerce Catalog Manager to join our dynamic team. The Ecommerce Catalog Manager at Flipcost.com will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our online product catalog. This position is responsible for ensuring that all product listings are accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for searchability and conversion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce, product data management, and digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Catalog Management: Oversee the creation, maintenance, and optimization of product listings across all categories ncluding adding, updating, and optimizing product listings across various platforms.
  • Data Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of product data, including descriptions, images, pricing, and attributes, across all online channels..
  • SEO Optimization: Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize product listings for search engines, ensuring high visibility and improved conversion rates.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and enhance catalog management processes, implementing best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with vendors and suppliers to gather accurate and complete product information, including images, specifications, and pricing.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits of the catalog to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze catalog performance metrics and develop strategies to improve product visibility and sales.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales to support promotional activities and system enhancements.
  • Content Management: Work closely with the Social Media Manager to create compelling and accurate product descriptions, aligning with the brand voice and targeting the appropriate audience.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure accurate stock levels are reflected in the catalog, preventing overselling and stockouts.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze catalog performance metrics, such as product page views, conversion rates, and sales, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in catalog management or a related field
  • Proven experience in catalog management, product data management, or a similar role in an e-commerce environment.
  • Strong understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles.
  • Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms, content management systems, and product information management (PIM) tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
