Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Showroom Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will assist customers, ensure the showroom is visually appealing, and support the sales team in delivering a seamless and personalized customer experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in the showroom, providing product information and answering inquiries about tiles, pool products, and backyard solutions.
- Showroom Maintenance: Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on product offerings, materials, and design trends to provide accurate information and recommendations.
- Sales Support: Assist the sales team with order processing, quotes, and follow-up communications.
- Inventory Management: Help track and manage showroom samples, brochures, and product displays.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and maintain customer records.
- QuickBooks Online: Manage transactions, invoices, and customer accounts using QuickBooks Online.
- Marketing Assistance: Collaborate on showroom promotions, events, and displays to enhance the customer experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or a showroom environment is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently with QuickBooks Online for invoicing, transactions, and customer account management.
- Interest or experience in home improvement, design, or landscaping is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills (familiarity with POS systems, email, and spreadsheets).
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Physical ability to move and lift samples or displays as needed.
- Team-oriented with a proactive and positive attitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
