The Social Community Assistant will manage and grow Every Man Jack's online community by engaging authentically with audiences and leveraging pop culture to enhance brand visibility across social media platforms.

Every Man Jack is a leader in the natural men’s grooming space in the United States, with a presence across major national retailers like Target, Walmart, Whole Foods, and Amazon. Born at the base of Mt. Tam in Marin County, CA, the company’s Base Camp is in Mill Valley, CA, just north of the Golden Gate Bridge. We’ve experienced significant growth over the past several years and continue to add top talent to our growing roster.

What You’ll Do.
THE ROLE: SOCIAL COMMUNITY ASSISTANT
We’re looking for a creative, quick-witted, and culturally tuned-in Social Community Assistant to help manage and grow our online community. This role focuses on building authentic relationships with our social audiences, proactively engaging in conversations to increase brand awareness, and showcasing our brand personality across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
The Social Community Assistant will handle the growing volume of community inquiries—whether it’s answering product questions, crafting witty responses, or engaging in trending threads—and will proactively seek opportunities to insert our brand into relevant conversations around men’s grooming, pop culture and beyond. With a strong sense of humor, sharp copywriting skills, and a passion for social media, this role will play a key part in scaling our platforms while maintaining our unique voice.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be the voice of the brand by responding to community inquiries and engaging with our audience across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Proactively monitor brand mentions, trending conversations, and hashtags to engage in relevant threads and grow brand awareness.
- Infuse the brand's personality into all communications, from answering product questions to participating in pop culture moments that are relevant to our Gen Z & Millennial male consumer.
- Identify and act on surprise-and-delight opportunities to foster goodwill and build loyalty within the community.
- Collaborate with the Customer Service team to resolve inquiries efficiently and provide insights to internal teams on recurring questions or feedback.
- Track and report on community engagement metrics, customer sentiment, and emerging trends.
- Stay ahead of social media trends, creators, and tools to make proactive recommendations for new ways to engage and grow the brand's online presence.
- Participate in brainstorms and support content creation efforts, including crafting captions and assisting with user-generated content strategies.
- Research and explore growth opportunities on platforms like X (Twitter) and Reddit to expand the brand's community reach.

The ideal candidate is a pop-culture enthusiast who is deeply passionate about social media, community building, and digital storytelling. You have a sharp sense of humor and can craft witty, engaging responses on the fly. With 1–3 years of experience in social media, influencer marketing, or content creation, you’re comfortable navigating TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube—and are eager to explore emerging platforms like X and Reddit. You’re proactive, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, bringing strategic thinking and creative flair to every task.

- Passion for social media, online communities, and crafting memorable digital interactions.
- Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to embody the brand’s voice and craft witty, engaging responses on the fly.
- Proactive and creative thinker with success in both planned content creation and in-the-moment, reactive engagement strategies.
- Strong understanding of the Gen Z and Millennial male mindset, with empathy for their needs and dedication to delivering great customer experiences.
- Experience with all major social platforms, particularly TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube; familiarity with X (Twitter) and Reddit is a plus.
- Keen awareness of pop culture, trending topics, and social conversations, with the ability to tie the brand into culturally relevant moments.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Social listening experience with the ability to analyze trends and provide actionable insights to the team.
- Positive, energetic attitude and a natural ability to connect with audiences.
