SHORT DESCRIPTION

As a Social Media Coordinator at WebMO, you will manage client social media accounts, create content, and implement strategies to enhance their online presence.

WebMO is a Tucson-based, full-service digital marketing agency and High Impact Google Partner.

As a Social Media Coordinator, you’ll be working with clients to help grow their businesses through effective, consistent social media management. This position reports directly to the Social Media Director as part of the Social Media Management Team; your role would be to create visual and written content, develop social strategies, and analyze data to identify areas of opportunity for a variety of social media clients and platforms while maintaining effective communication to keep clients apprised of the status of their social strategy.

The ideal candidate is someone who possesses integrity, passion, and the aptitude to rapidly develop their social media management skills (training provided by WebMO). After advancement through our training program, we'll also provide you with an opportunity for increased pay and responsibility.

Training & Education:

As a part of the WebMO team, you’ll receive comprehensive training on internal and external tools and systems, as well as education on social media concepts and strategies. Educational opportunities include:

  • Training on WebMO’s systems for managing projects, tasks, and clients
  • Training on a wide variety of digital marketing platforms such as Meta Business Suite, Facebook Ads Manager, our in-house scheduling platform, and more
  • Training on the use of various social media platforms for professional management
  • Webinars and workshops presented to clients that staff are encouraged to attend
  • Web development, design, ads management, and Google Suite expertise available as in-house resources for any questions
  • An internal Wiki for Frequently Asked Questions, as well as a collaborative internal resource for how-to’s on our processes and systems

A Day in the Life:

Every day at WebMO is different and changes based on each of your client's needs and what projects you have in the pipeline. Once you are trained, here’s what you might do on any given day:

  • Monitor client communications via email and respond professionally with a solution to their problem
  • Create visual and written content for our client’s various social media platforms
  • Brainstorm new and inventive ways to achieve our client’s goals
  • Attend client-facing meetings in person and via web or phone calls to discuss social media reports and strategies
  • Analyze data from reports and communicate that with clients to ensure their full understanding
  • Take initiative to problem solve and ask for team input and help
  • Film and edit video content for clients
  • Visit a client at their business location for a content shoot

Job Duties:

Our Social Media Management Team is committed to helping clients provide value, with authenticity, to their niche audience. As a Social Media Coordinator, you’ll be the voice for our client’s brands, helping them reach their specific social media marketing goals. Responsibilities include:

  • Listening to and guiding business owners in reaching their marketing goals
  • Providing education, guidance, and assistance to clients on a variety of topics, making very clear how our strategy will enhance their social media presence
  • Creating compelling social media content designed to accomplish each client’s goals
  • Creating and editing various graphics, Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, and YouTube shorts
  • Compiling and delivering social media marketing progress reports to management and clients
  • Checking social media notifications on a variety of social media platforms
  • Engaging with followers on social media to increase brand exposure
  • Developing engagement strategies for social media clients
  • Taking initiative to problem solve and asking for team input and help
  • Coordinating client projects internally between social media team, designers, developers, analysts, management, and billing
  • Stay up to date on the latest updates on social media platforms and help implement changes into the Social Team’s systems

Qualifications:

  • Experience with graphic design is highly desired
  • Fluency in basic computer skills, Microsoft Office/Google Docs, web browsers, and search engines
  • Experience with social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok, and Twitter/X
  • Strong video editing skills in the form of Instagram reels, TikTok videos, and YouTube shorts
  • Videography experience is desired, but not required
  • Experience in customer-facing roles and/or with de-escalation is a plus
  • Please include a link to your design and/or social media portfolio with samples of your work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
