Stoa Group is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to join our growing team in Hammond, La. As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for the planning, scheduling, execution, and reporting of marketing initiatives for the Stoa Group portfolio. What you will do:
- Support campaign execution, including proofing and editing materials to meet established brand guidelines scheduling.
- Capturing photo and video content at Resident Events/Sponsorships/Company functions
- Partner with Marketing Specialists on community events, assisting with the development, execution, and monitoring of outreach marketing campaigns, creating event graphics, and performing other duties as directed that support the marketing efforts of their assigned communities.
- Develop and implement strategies for growth acquisition and content distribution across multiple channels.
- Act as liaison between marketing and property management by answering messages on all platforms during and after regular business hours to create and maintain a consistent Online Reputation Management strategy.
- Track, manage, and grow engagement on all Stoa Group platforms.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Experience managing and growing social media profiles in a professional setting.
- Knowledge of Canva, Buffer, or similar social media publishing tools.
- Strong understanding of digital media platforms, including websites, blogs, and enterprise content management systems (CMS)
- Must have a high level of creativity, strong organizational and project management skills, and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Photoshop.
- Some experience thriving in active, collaborative team environments.
- Familiarity with or interest in content marketing and photography.
- Must be willing to travel regularly; weekly remote work involved.
Educational Requirements:
BS or BA degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related fields preferred.
