Social Media & Digital Marketing Coordinator

QUALIFICATIONS
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks, experience with digital marketing and social media, and proficiency in Canva or Adobe Suite. A bachelor's degree and experience in the craft beverage or hospitality industry are preferred but not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage social media content and community engagement, coordinate brand marketing initiatives, handle public relations activities, maintain direct-to-consumer ordering platforms, create graphic design content, and manage merchandise inventory.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Join Diskin Cider, an award-winning cidery, as a key team member managing digital marketing, social media, and community relations to enhance brand awareness and drive sales.
Diskin Cider opened in May of 2018 and has become a known for producing top-notch, creative ciders. We are looking for an individual to join our award-winning cidery team in Nashville, TN. This on-site role will be responsible for producing and managing all social media content, communication, digital marketing and content between Diskin Cider and our community.
Responsibilities include:
Brand Marketing & Awareness
- Be the voice of our Diskin Cider brand to grow us from a local cidery to a nationally recognized cidery.
- Create relationships with like-minded businesses and partners in the local community.
- Work with our marketing consultants to market campaigns to promote brand awareness locally and nationally.
Digital & Social Media Management
- Create and post all content for digital media & social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, additional outlets as developed).
- Organize and forecast social postings, creating weekly and monthly plans (includes promotions, releases, and campaigns) based on metrics and insights.
- Manage all community messages and questions.
- Coordinate promotions with Nashville Guru, DO615, influencers, and other social media providers as appropriate.
- Manage website and content.
- Produce monthly metric reports showing results of previous posts/campaigns.
Public Relations
- Create and send weekly/monthly newsletter emails.
- Create and send press releases as necessary.
- Collaborate with marketing consultants to engage and expand advertising opportunities.
Direct-to-Consumer Platform Management
- Maintaining our direct-to-consumer ordering platforms- sending orders daily, fulfilling or delegating curbside pickups, updating product information and availability.
- Promotion of direct-to-consumer platforms on social media accounts.
- Produce monthly metric reports showing statistics (order locations, best sellers, worst sellers, etc.).
Creating Content
- Create on-brand graphic design pieces for menus, posters, events, ads, social media, sales materials, banners, etc.
- Take high quality photos or contract photographers for content.
Merchandising
- Creating and managing merchandise with branding consultants and merchandise partners.
- Responsible for managing inventory and merchandising items in our Tasting Room.
- Reporting and tracking of styles, sizes, etc. to then utilize for future seasons.
Important Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to self-manage, meet deadlines, prioritize, and stay organized.
- Willingness to learn new things, like new software tools or management concepts.
- Ability to build relationships with the current team, members of the beverage industry media, and our local community.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt plans in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
- Strong computer skills (particularly Canva and/or Adobe Suite)
- Can function well in a non-traditional, non-cubicle type work environment.
Nice to have, but not required:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience with social media, marketing, graphic design and/or web development.
- Bonus points for having experience in the craft beverage industry and/or hospitality industry.
Physical Aspects You Might Encounter:
- Occasional lifting of items ranging from 25-50 lbs
- Tasting of alcoholic beverages for quality control
- Installation of marketing materials which could require using stools or ladders, lifting, bending, and stretching.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
