As the Social Media Manager at Canopy Mortgage, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance brand recognition, especially among potential loan officer recruits. You will create compelling visual and video content tailored to each platform, analyze performance metrics, and implement strategies to maximize engagement and reach.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation:
    • Design, produce, and manage high-quality, engaging video and image content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X and others
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand messaging aligns with company goals.
    • Highlight testimonials, company culture, and the benefits of working with Canopy Mortgage.
  • Strategy & Management:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy focused on increasing brand awareness among loan officers and potential clients.
    • Plan and manage the social media content calendar.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and platform algorithms to optimize content performance.
  • Engagement & Growth:
    • Foster an engaged online community by responding to comments and messages in a timely, professional manner.
    • Identify opportunities for collaborations, partnerships, or organic & paid campaigns to amplify exposure.
  • Analytics & Reporting:
    • Track and analyze social media performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of organic & paid campaigns.
    • Provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with CMO & recruiting teams to create content that resonates with loan officers.
    • Coordinate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing objectives.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience managing social media for a business or brand (mortgage industry experience strongly preferred).
    • Demonstrated success in creating video content that drives engagement.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
    • Graphic design skills with experience in tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
    • Exceptional communication and copywriting skills.
    • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
