Seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to lead marketing initiatives at Promofect, focusing on social media management, content creation, and innovative marketing strategies.

As Promofect moves into our new headquarters in Mahwah, NJ, we’re taking the next step in expanding our marketing efforts. This is the first dedicated marketing position on our team, and we’re looking for a skilled professional to spearhead our marketing initiatives while working collaboratively with our existing team. You’ll have the opportunity to shape this role and help us grow our marketing department in the coming years.

This role requires someone with a diverse skill set who can focus on social media management, content creation, and implementing creative, guerrilla-style marketing strategies. If you’re ready to think outside the box and make a real impact, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to boost brand awareness, audience engagement, and website traffic.
  • Create, curate, and manage high-quality content (images, video, written) that aligns with our brand voice and goals.
  • Drive sales and customer engagement for our e-commerce brand, NYRushShirts.com, through targeted social media campaigns.
  • Oversee and optimize digital advertising campaigns and spending to ensure cost-effective performance.
  • Brainstorm and execute guerrilla marketing tactics that create buzz and connect with our target audience in unique ways.
  • Utilize tools like Hootsuite for scheduling posts and tracking performance across platforms.
  • Collaborate with the existing team to integrate marketing strategies with broader company goals.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and audience preferences to inform marketing strategies.
  • Design graphics using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, and manage video editing projects for promotional content.
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics and adjust strategies based on insights gained.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in social media management and content creation, with a portfolio showcasing successful campaigns.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and video editing software.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and experience driving online sales through digital marketing.
  • Strong creative thinking skills for implementing innovative, guerrilla-style marketing tactics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment and wear multiple hats when needed.
  • Knowledge of the screen printing, embroidery, or promotional products industry is a plus but not required.
