Role & Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies for Impact Media’s clients
- Lead community engagement for Client Accounts
- Assist with graphic design tasks for social media and marketing materials.
- Actively grow social media presence and audience for accounts you manage
- Maintain a unified brand voice per account across their social media channels
- Review analytics and create reports on key metrics
- Track the success of each social media campaign
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies, monitoring the market and for industry trends and continued training to ensure Impact Media is staying on the cutting edge.
- Work with the production team to curate and create engaging and effective content for social media platforms
- Assist in creating a process flow of the creation of written, video and photo content that ensures quality and timeliness
- Review content prior to sending to clients / posting.
- Support videography and photography efforts for campaigns and events.
- Provide constructive feedback to the team
- Strong writing experience preferred
- Must have a friendly and collaborative attitude with team members and clients.

- Assist in the development and management of the social media & influencer marketing strategies
- Content Calendar Management: Create and maintain a content calendar, ensuring regular and timely posting across social media platforms.
- Competitor Analysis: Conduct regular competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in social media strategies.
- Social Listening: Monitor social media conversations related to the company, clients, and industry, and proactively engage in relevant discussions.
- Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of the social media budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Training and Mentoring: Provide guidance, training, and support to junior team members or interns working on social media initiatives.
Commitment
The position requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week with a three-month trial period. During this trial period, the candidate will have the opportunity to showcase their skills and potential. After the trial period, there will be an opportunity to transition to a full-time position depending on performance and fit.
Location
Preferred locations are Huntington, West Virginia, or Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
We offer hybrid remote work options; however, candidates will need to come into the office on specific days and during the trial period.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in social media management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and respond to inquiries on social media platforms.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and other major social media platforms, including a deep understanding of their best practices.
- Experience in conducting audience and buyer persona research to inform social media strategies and content creation.
- Proactive and driven, with a strong desire to take the social media department to the next level and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Enjoys learning on the go and experimenting with new ideas and approaches to optimize social media performance.
- Good understanding of social media key performance indicators (KPIs) and the ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent writing skills, demonstrating a strong attention to detail and the ability to craft engaging and compelling social media content.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment, working closely with cross-functional teams and clients to align social media strategies with business objectives.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (not required but appreciated).
- Completion of relevant online courses or certifications related to digital marketing and online business (not required but appreciated).
Bonus Skill Sets:
- Basic design skills within Adobe Photoshop or Canva.
- Copywriting skills or experience.
- Basic video editing skills with Adobe Premiere.
- Managing Meta, LinkedIn or TikTok paid campaigns

Salary Range
$30,000 - $42,000/yr (depending on experience)
