QUALIFICATIONS
Proven track record in organic social media growth, organizational skills, creativity, familiarity with platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, and experience working with authors is a bonus.

Seeking a passionate Social Media Manager to drive organic growth on social media platforms, build community engagement, and collaborate on promotional campaigns for author Michael Chatfield's brands.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager who knows their stuff and can serve as a strong team member. Your primary focus will be on driving organic social media growth across Facebook (including Facebook Groups), Instagram, and TikTok. We need someone who is deeply immersed in strategy, skilled in execution, and passionate about staying on top of the latest trends.
This role is critical to growing the brand and building an engaged online community. It requires a mix of strategic thinking, creativity, and organization. We’re looking for someone who can lead with passion, deliver results, and grow alongside the business.
About the Company
Michael Chatfield is an international bestseller who lives to create character-driven stories set in fact-paced worlds. His main genres are Fantasy, Science Fiction, and LitRPG, but he enjoys adding enough realism to make the stories leap off the page.
Chatfield has several complete series, such as the portalled to another world LitRPG series Ten Realms, the humor-filled fantasy of the Death Knight series, and the Science Fiction Space Opera called the Free Fleet. Chatfield is currently working on the Four Horsemen Series, a Gamelit Fantasy book.
When he’s not writing stories, Chatfield enjoys traveling to other countries, drinking a good beer, and getting lost in a video game.
Responsibilities will Include:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive organic social media strategy for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Engaging with audiences across platforms to grow community involvement.
- Managing and posting content for Facebook Groups to foster conversations and attract new members.
- Staying up-to-date on platform trends and integrating them into the strategy.
- Collaborating with the team to align organic social media efforts with book launches and promotional campaigns.
- Creating and scheduling engaging posts, reels, and stories that resonate with the target audience.
- Analyzing and reporting on social media performance to track growth and engagement metrics.
- Support with email marketing and increasing conversion rates

The pay range for this position is based on experience with a budget of $30-$40 per hour for about 40 hours per month.
We are looking for someone within North America who is +/- 3 hours of the EST time zone. Please do not apply if you do not meet the above specifications.
