POSITION SUMMARY

SET ACTIVE is looking for a Social Media Manager to join our Marketing team. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategies across all of SET's social platforms. The right candidate will be able to multitask across all platforms while hitting our target market and working cross-functionally with all creative teams. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube, Twitter) to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition.
  • Stay informed about trends, algorithm changes, and platform updates to guide content and strategy decisions.
  • Align social strategies with the overall marketing calendar, incorporating brand objectives and conversions.
  • Create and maintain a monthly social media calendar with marketing initiatives, notable dates, and goals.
  • Conceptualize and execute unique campaigns and initiatives to drive engagement and expand reach.
  • Track and report on KPIs, analyze platform performance, and adjust strategies to optimize results.
  • Engage with the community by responding to comments, managing DMs, and collaborating with Customer Service as needed.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative, and Influencer teams on campaigns, UGC, gifting, and paid social.
  • Oversee the Content Producer to ensure all social content aligns with brand guidelines and strategy.
  • Provide content briefs, shot lists, and attend shoots to capture BTS content tailored to social needs.
  • Ensure all posted content (images, videos, and copy) meets brand standards and marketing objectives.
  • Manage Instagram content by planning IG grids, posting daily stories (5+ slides), and engaging with tagged posts and influencers.
  • Lead TikTok strategy by conceptualizing and overseeing daily content creation, staying ahead of trends, and driving sales through the platform.
  • Collaborate with the Influencer Marketing Specialist to grow influencer networks and manage gifting and engagement programs.
  • Analyze social insights and their relationship to marketing KPIs and sales.
  • Inspire, manage, and motivate the Social Media Team to align with brand vision and improve work quality and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for supplementary photoshoots and assist in content creation as needed.
  • Monitor conversations and trends related to the brand, competitors, and industry.
  • Ensure alignment between organic social and paid social media strategies.
  • Provide leadership and support to ensure timely and successful execution of all social media initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience working in a social media role; DTC e-commerce brand preferred.
  • Exceptional understanding of the intersection of social media and marketing with the ability to view social media through both a social and marketing lens.
  • Mastery of all major social media platforms, including emerging ones.
  • Proven history of conceptualizing and executing effective social campaigns from both a strategic and creative standpoint that meet marketing goals and deadlines.
  • Understanding of SET's aesthetic with high aesthetic standards.
  • Exceptional writing skills with strong attention to detail, grammar, brand tone, and voice.
  • Deep knowledge of social media measurement tools; ability to use analytics to develop and evolve strategy.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced collaborative environment, multi-task and prioritize under tight deadlines.
