Your Next Role
As Social Media Marketing Manager, you will build our company’s social media content strategy and capability. You'll craft compelling content narratives that not only capture attention but also convert followers into customers. Your strategic vision will involve developing a robust content production system that amplifies our brand voice across multiple platforms, translating creative brilliance into tangible revenue outcomes. This isn't just about posting content—it's about creating a dynamic digital ecosystem that positions our brand at the forefront of our industry. In doing so, you will create a new content production engine for the business and achieve the strategic outcomes of driving revenue and diversifying marketing channels.
What You’ll Do
Developing a comprehensive social media content strategy that aligns with our broader business objectives
Lead the collaboration with marketing team to develop a social media content strategy for Instagram and YouTube that directly supports 3 key business goals, with quarterly strategic alignment reviews
Create a 12-month content roadmap that demonstrates clear connection to company KPIs, with 90% of content directly tied to specific business objectives
Conduct quarterly competitive analysis and market research to ensure strategy remains innovative and responsive to industry trends, with documented insights and strategic pivots
Creating scroll-stopping content that resonates with our target audience and drives meaningful engagement
Achieve industry standard engagement benchmarks within the first 6 months and exceed these benchmarks in the next 6 months
Develop and test at least 10 unique content concepts monthly, with A/B testing to optimize performance and identify top-performing content formats
Achieve platform specific KPIs on Instagram and YouTube to maximize organic distribution
Optimizing content distribution to maximize reach and impact across various social platforms
Develop platform-specific content strategies that increase organic reach with reasonably ambitious targets across primary social channels within six months
Collaborate with the advertising team to run performance tests with bid strategy caps
Review and iterate on the content strategy regularly to increase share of advertising spend behind content created
Implementing data-driven approaches to transform social media interactions into measurable revenue streams
Design and implement a comprehensive tracking system that directly attributes the department’s effort to revenue generation
Collaborate with the measurement and advertising teams to optimize the performance of the campaigns
Collaborate with the customer service team to turn interactions into sales conversations and conversions
Building and leading a content production framework that becomes a competitive advantage for our organization
Establish a streamlined content production process that taps on platform trends with short turnaround times
Create and document comprehensive content guidelines and brand voice protocols that can be easily scaled across the marketing team, ensuring consistent quality and messaging
Develop a cross-functional content creation team with clear roles, responsibilities, and performance metrics, increasing content output while maintaining quality
How You’ll Succeed
Maneuver is an OKRs, KPIs & data-driven company, we are not Mad Men (Well, not all), but Math Men. As a result, a number of metrics will constitute the basis of your performance and success within this role and the company:
Measurable revenue and orders directly attributable to the content via advertising campaigns on platforms including but not limited to Meta, AppLovin, and YouTube. KPIs include:
Last-click in-platform revenue and orders attributed to the content
Number of content pieces that spend at least $100K while acquiring customers at first order breakeven (represented by a specific ROAS target)
Measurable revenue and orders directly attributable to the content via coupon codes and organic distribution on platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. KPIs include:
Coupon codes usage statistics
UTM tracking parameters for links in post and bio
Benchmark-exceeding platform metrics including but not limited to:
Share count on Instagram
Average watch time on YouTube
Other relevant engagement metrics
Your Experience
3-5 years of proven social media marketing experience, with a measurable track record in growing follower count, engagement, and revenue-related business metrics
Portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns that directly contributed to revenue generation or business growth
Experience in developing and tracking comprehensive social media performance metrics and ROI
Exceptional copywriting and content creation skills across various formats
Experience in content optimization for different social media algorithms
Demonstrated ability to create engaging, brand-aligned content that drives audience interaction
Familiarity with graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and basic video editing software
Ability to translate social media metrics into business insights
Proven skill in audience segmentation and targeted content development
Strong understanding of digital marketing funnels and conversion optimization
