The Social Media & Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and executing marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, customer acquisition, and sales growth while leading impactful marketing campaigns across various channels.

Position Overview:

The Social Media & Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our brand, products, and services. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the retail industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving successful marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and oversee social marketing planning and concepting for organic channels, across SCL launches and business needs to create compelling marketing campaigns that highlight product features and benefits.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to achieve company objectives and drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and sales growth.
  • Define brand positioning, messaging and voice across all channels to ensure consistency and alignment with company values and objectives.
  • Review all digital, print and video content for brand accuracy and marketing needs.
  • Assist the photography team on shoots, take content, and help the team organize prior/post shoots.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and maintain timeliness and ensuring brand integrity across all touch points
  • Partner with digital to oversee all marketing activities, including digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, content creation, and traditional marketing channels.
  • Provide feedback & workflow for Graphic Designers in order to create accurate assets
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies.
  • Partner with digital to track and review the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing actionable insights to senior management.
  • Conduct brand audits and make recommendations for improvements to strengthen the brand’s market position.
  • Set clear, measurable goals for all marketing activities, including brand awareness, lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Utilize customer data and analytics to gain a deep understanding of customer behavior, preferences, and buying patterns.
  • Work with our external PR team to keep them up to date on SCL launches and happenings and provide them assets and details meeting their timelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains at the forefront of marketing innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the Direct to Customer industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, SEO, and other online marketing techniques.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing ideas and solutions.
  • Experience with Adobe Suite, Dash Hudson, Video Editing, Social Planning Tools preferred.
  • Experience creating organic content preferred.
