Klein Tools is looking for a motivated, passionate Social Media Manager to join our growing Marketing team. As the Social Media Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and executing against social media strategies that amplify Klein Tools’ brand, driving engagement with existing brand loyalists and new target audiences alike to deliver measurable results. You’re a proactive, strategic thinker who can balance forward-looking content planning with the day-to-day execution of social media campaigns, community engagement and leveraging partnerships with influencers and content creators to reach new consumers. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll work enthusiastically with in-house Creative teams, agency partners and Product Marketing Managers to plan, produce and coordinate calendarized efforts across multiple social media channels.
1. Under strategic guidance of the Digital Marketing Manager, own implementation and execution of social media strategies to support business objectives through new product launch campaigns, brand awareness and skilled trade/industry audience growth.
2. Own the planning, production deadlines and scheduling of on-brand and engaging content across multiple social platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.). Work with Product Marketers to create channel plans for major new product launches, recommending content plans, integrating influencer/content creator opportunities and briefing Creative needs for production.
3. Work with in-house Creative, Copywriters and agency partners to storyboard, provide feedback and bring to life engaging, professional skilled trades-focused content under consistent brand identity, voice and compliance. Maintain knowledge of existing content for creative re-purpose, maximizing use of available resources.
4. Deliver monthly performance analysis with actionable insights for executive visibility, highlighting wins, challenges, and opportunities. Recommend and - under Digital Marketing Manager guidance - adjust strategies to optimize against KPIs
5. Monitor social media channels, engage with audiences and build a sense of community by responding to comments, questions, and concerns in a timely and on-brand manner.
6. Serve as the internal subject matter expert on social media trends, emerging platforms and industry/content innovations to keep our brand at the forefront of social & community marketing.

Education/Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience as a Social Media Manager or Specialist, ideally in the tool industry or CPG durable goods
Skills For Success
  • Highly proficient in digital marketing techniques, social media management and creating a variety of content.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate and communicate new ideas, support content production and write copy for social content.
  • Experience briefing creative teams; content production and editing experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with social media advertising platforms and influencer/content creator partnerships.
  • Familiarity with Social Media Management (Sprout or similar) and Project Management tools (e.g. Monday.com).
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to persuade and drive timely execution with various internal and external teams.

This role has an annual salary range of $69,000-85,000. In addition to salary, you’re eligible for competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Klein Tools Inc. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including, but not limited to, skills, experience, and location. In addition, Klein Tools offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and company performance.
