Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and creative Social Media/Marketing Specialist to support our marketing initiatives under the guidance of the Brand & Content Manager. This role involves executing effective social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engage with our customer base.

As a Social Media/Marketing Specialist you will play a crucial role in amplifying our brand’s online presence and driving interactive communication with our audience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media management as well as play a key role in photoshoot coordination, influencer program management, and performance analytics to ensure our social media strategies are aligned with our overall marketing goals.

This position reports to the Brand & Content Manager and will work closely with the marketing team to create innovative content that bolsters brand awareness, captivates our target audience, and boosts customer acquisition and retention.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Assist in the development and execution of content across social media platforms, including posts, stories, and videos.
  • Engagement Strategies: Help manage daily social interactions with our followers to increase engagement and customer loyalty.
  • Campaign Support: Collaborate on social media campaigns, contributing creative ideas and helping to monitor their success.
  • Photoshoot Execution: Assist in organizing and executing photoshoots to create compelling visual content that aligns with marketing strategies.
  • Influencer Program Management: Assist in the implementation of the social media influencer program by identifying potential influencers, communicating with them, facilitating contracts, and generating performance reports.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about current trends in social media and digital marketing to ensure our strategy remains relevant and competitive.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align social media strategies with overall marketing goals.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in social media management and digital marketing. Experience with apparel a plus.
  • Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter.
  • Basic knowledge in graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), Canva and other relevant design tools.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Notion, Asana, Trello, Hive).
  • Knowledge of digital marketing platforms and channels, including social media, websites, and email marketing.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
  • Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Experience assisting with photoshoots is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in influencer marketing is a plus.
