Playfly Sports is looking for a Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our team.
The Social Media Marketing Specialist will assist Playfly Sports Properties (PSP) in the generation of revenue through social media. The person in this role will oversee the promotion of branded content, lead generation campaigns, and other sponsorship opportunities through social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube etc. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, creative, problem solver, and a person who is detail oriented.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
- Develop and manage paid social media campaigns, inclusive of planning, execution, optimization and reporting for various activation types (e.g., branded social content, lead generation campaigns, etc.)
- Build ads and support campaigns on social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube etc.
- Proactively track, monitor, and optimize campaign performance against KPIs
- Serve as subject-matter-expert as well as liaison between PSP properties and social media measurement tool vendor(s)
- Assist sales team with assessing client strategic goals and objectives (i.e., brand awareness, maximum reach, clicks, website traffic, high engagement, video views, entries and/or game plays, etc.)
- Monitor budget pacing and manage budget reallocations for active campaigns to ensure performance meets the respective campaign’s goals and objectives
- Communicate campaign changes and performance to the sales team
- As requested, create and deliver presentations to the sales team showcasing campaign strategy and performance results
- Monitor the latest trends in social media, including advertising formats, channels and technologies to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations on how clients can best leverage new tools and services
- Assist in training and developing team members knowledge of social media best practices
- Advocate the value of social media and help educate clients, partners and internal teams on the latest developments and capabilities

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing or related field preferred
- Minimum 1-year experience setting up and optimizing paid social media campaigns
- Strong knowledge of social platforms (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube etc.)
- Knowledge of audience targeting and data driven audience tactics
- Orientation toward providing excellent client service and following through on requests
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide instruction and guidance to individuals who may not have a strong social media acumen
- Strong analytics, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Must be detail oriented and can manage multiple projects
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills

- This role may require occasional travel
COMPENSATION
The pay range for this role is $58,000 to $62,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
